This is pretty far north and west for some of us but the West Wing trails are worth it! My most rugged Thursday hike, this is a fun loop with narrow trails and lots of up and down over a pretty ridge line. After hiking the entire length, the trail follows the elevation along the side to return us to the start point.

Equipment: Your sturdy and broken in hikers, at least some water and a light source

Directions: From loop 101 west, exit 75th Avenue and go right (north) to Deer Valley road. Go left (west) to 83rd avenue. Go right (north) and continue past Happy Valley, past Jomax, past the 1st High Desert Dr to the 2nd High Desert Drive; yes, there are two. Go right and take the first left on Higuera.
