There is a housing summit on September 19th at the Stevens Lee Center in downtown Asheville.  Two tiny home builders are planning to attend. There will be workshops and vendors to visit all morning. The city of Asheville is supposed to make a formal announcement very soon. I will keep thus group posted.

For me, I am in a little pickle ( but still very Blessed :) !   I have been observing the tinghouse movement for awhile.  I downsized 6 months ago & have  .....I had been in a home for 9yrs in Marion NC, w/ intent to move in to Asheville/Henderson-close by, for some time, however my health problems progressed, to find out I am dealing late stage lyme ( I am from Austin TX and I deeply missed my tribe & people who ' speak my lanuage' for some time.... I had a sec 8 voucher at the time and HUD refused to honor voucher because "yRV's" don't fit into their box.. And my back up plans

made abrupt changes.

I an wanting, needing a very inexpensive, peaceful, sacred, trees (I have missed dearly) w/ kind people aware kind, compassionate hu-mans, who might have a spot for me, my 5 - 4 four legged family, to live ,,,,,w/ a this goal in mind strongly, posed this also in craigslist.....to see what options are out there.

Many many hu-mans are out there w/ these chronic illnesses and It is Not acceptable to me any more, to know there are bunches out there who have become as isolated w/ no family, friends support because most of these illnesses can be invisible (till later, state like me-wheelchair etc) and so sadly .....people go away after a while reg chronic illnesses, because you can live a long time in terrible suffering.....many don't believe you !   much abuse....and so sad.

I owned a health spa in Austin TX, in the professional field for 30 yrs, but ' serving others' was/is my real passion.

30 yrs plus, with homeless. mental health w patients in group homes...etc.......And my main goal was to help, assist, and bring some joy reg those who had no one....isolated....feeling no love from a soul............

WELL now, that I have/am experiences BOTH sides, I KNOW now is a time to find a small community w/ a mix of souls....and for those who are desperately needed a ' family ' 

Pls forgive any of my writing, lyme has affected my wording, writing, seeing and I hope it makes sense .....

BUT NEVER MY HEART ! :) 

 AND I am needing a spot, as of yesterday  :)     Pls forgive the lenght of this ...........Blessing's ....ALL in Divine timing ~

Sick w/Lyme&other,Community living ? (Morganton NC)     I posted this in craigslist 5 days ago 

Are you sick w/ Lyme, Isolated and wanting to live around like minded people ? 
RV-Tiny Home space-community, may be in the works, on a old forest Mountain area ?
I myself have been sick for years, now knowing it's Lyme. I have just downsized in a RV, needing a spot for me, 5, 4-legged ones & a 34 ft 2006 RV.... I miss my tribe ! Most of us are extremely isolated & we have wanted a small community who speaks our language, a support system who understands & we will develop our support own system AND to be there for each other. Those who have home care, it can be provided here.even organic meals. (hopefully from our gardens)
We have some access to some family owned land that is beautiful & virgin Land.
If we have a few people, who are wanting, needing this desperately because of illness and looking for a sweet, Sacred, Blessed and a safe peaceful space. The family may consider it to be purchased AND at a incredible price so the land rent/lease would be very reasonably & MAYBE ?? a way for those who are having a problem affording housing...who knows .........but the door is open. What do you out there need or would like ( we would be almost 1 hr E of Asheville NC ) not far off HWY 40
