Open Mic Talent Show interest

If I produced some sort of "open mic talent show" for lack of a better way of putting it, would anyone be interested in performing in it? This doesn't have to relate to music exclusively; if you're into poetry reading or clean-ish comedy, etc, the more variety the better. You dont even have to be good.

If this happens, I'm going to have to look for venues to host it, which depends on how many rsvps this gets.
