After narrowly missing his chance to become Afghanistan's first Olympic skier, Alishah returns to his homeland's remote mountains and sparks a vibrant new ski culture. By uniting young athletes from rival villages with makeshift wooden skis in a unique race, he inspires a rare moment of hope and triumph. When their world is suddenly disrupted, Alishah and the athletes draw on lessons learned on the slopes.
