What is a greenhouse on Mars like? This month, Luciana Tenorio will talk about her projects for ‘Mars Analog mission’ in the desert of Utah.
For the mission, she developed the UV light-resistant cover for a greenhouse on Mars. She traveled to Utah with her crew to install it and test it on the real greenhouse.

Luciana Tenorio is a master student at the Architecture Department at Univ. of Tokyo and an analog astronaut at Mars Society LATAM. Right now she has worked on the NASA 3D printing Mars challenge at Autodesk Build Space, presenting the results at MIT Media Lab during the Space week. She has been a Leader of Tomorrow at St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland, and the ambassador of MIT Technology Review LATAM Innovators Under 35 and co-creator of "Intelligent Design Housing for the Future" at Singularity University and NASA's Ames Research Center.
She has been recognized by the BBC as one of the 6 young Latin-Americans who want to revolutionize science and medicine with their inventions.
