**SAT JAN 24 from 12:15-1:15pm** Learn a fun arrangement for ukulele in the pop, rock, + folk realms. Maureen will provide two different sheets - one arrangement for beginner players (who know 3-4 chords) and another arrangement for intermediate players. This way, everyone wins! Beginners can push their skills with chord changes and intermediate players can enjoy tinkering with riffs and engaging in new strum and picking patterns. This is our weekly training session. NOVA Jujutsu is a self-defense focused system incorporating Geri (Kicking), Atemi (Striking), Uke (Blocking), Tai Sabakai (Body Movement), Tai Hodoki (Escapes), Kansetsu Waza (Joint Locks), Nage Waza (Throwing), Shime Waza (Choking), Katame Waza (Grappling), Tantojutsu (Knife), Bojutsu (Bo), Kenjutsu (Sword), and Kata (Forms). Every 3rd Monday of the month join us for a laid back ukulele strum along and pizza party at the School of Musical Traditions lead by Director Maureen Andary! We'll start the evening out with pizza + socializing and start strumming around 6:30pm. Music provided and we always end each jam with a little blues lesson and then a blues song with an opportunity to do soloing. **Weekly Intermediate Argentine Tango lessons**\- Monday evenings RSVP required! Please text Todd at 202-361-8633 in advance of attendance. Limited to 12 (6 leads/6 follows). This is an intermediate class for tango lovers who want to explore more! This class rotates focus on the many rich tango themes available. We explore ways to lead/follow with different outcomes in neutral technique to enhance communication in the dance. We often review material from our immersive camps as well. Come join us in our Annandale home location! Some tango experience required (at least one immersion camp or at least 10 tango lessons).
