Release & Reset Yoga at Dieweg (Uccle)
**Release & Reset Yoga:** **Gentle flow to unwind, breathe, and reset**
(please register in advance at [https://ewalitke.com/yoga/#agenda](https://ewalitke.com/yoga/#agenda))
Do you ever feel like your head is racing 24/7, and the constant "run" of daily life is making you lose perspective? Many of us spend our days in a "*business spin*," caught in a whirlwind of meetings and deadlines where we literally forget to breathe.
If you are looking for more than just a workout, but a place to **stop the autopilot** and reconnect with yourself — this class is for you.
**What makes this class different?**
This isn't a mass-market gym session where you're just another face in the crowd. It is a tailor-made experience in a safe, intimate group where your individual needs are truly seen and answered. I don't believe in "*performing*" or pushing to 100%. Instead, we focus on intention, listening to our bodies, and finding that sweet spot where physical challenge meets deep relaxation.
**The Experience:**
* **The "*Switch*":** We begin by centering ourselves, shifting the "*gear*" from work mode to being present.
* **Active Flow:** A structured, balanced practice to strengthen your body and address those "office life" aches in the back, neck, and wrists.
* **The Soothing Finish:** A student favorite. We end with a long, guided relaxation and Savasana — a "balm of relief" for your nervous system that helps you drop the stress and leave feeling 100% better.
Come as you are, whether you're tired, stressed, or just need a moment for yourself. Let’s step off the treadmill together and **recharge your week.**
**Every Tuesday \| Suitable for all levels \| Beginners are warmly welcome\!**

DISCUSSION: Who Owns Space? Power, Law, and Geopolitics Beyond Earth
**Discussion: Who Owns Space? Power, Law, and Geopolitics Beyond Earth**
For decades, outer space was imagined as a shared domain — the “province of all humankind.” Governed by UN treaties, it was meant to be used peacefully, cooperatively, and without national ownership.
But that vision is starting to crack. New space powers, private companies, and rising geopolitical competition are reshaping how space is accessed, controlled, and governed. Initiatives like the Artemis program (led by the USA and its allies) and the International Lunar Research Station (supported by China, Russia, and partners) point to a future where influence in space may mirror (or even intensify) power struggles on Earth.
As humanity returns to the Moon and looks toward Mars, space is no longer just a scientific frontier. It is becoming a strategic, political, and legal battleground.
✅ Free entrance (just grab a drink at the bar to support the venue!)
This raises difficult questions about global governance, inequality, and ownership beyond Earth. Who sets the rules when treaties lag behind technology? Will space become a new commons, or a new arena for domination?
In this discussion, we’ll explore how power, law, and geopolitics are evolving in outer space, and why these developments matter for the future of humanity.
Some guiding questions:
💬 Can outer space truly remain a shared global commons?
💬 Do new space agreements undermine or update existing international law?
💬 What role should private companies play in space exploration and resource use?
💬 Will space cooperation reduce global tensions or export them beyond Earth?
💬 Who benefits from the new space race, and who is left out?
Join us for an open and thoughtful conversation where all perspectives are welcome!

Roleplaying Session (2 of 2): The Orchard of Glass Wolves
**Read this carefully before signing up!**
[Dungeon World](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_World) is a narrative high fantasy roleplaying game, built on the [Powered by the Apocalypse](https://www.forbes.com/sites/robwieland/2020/12/29/a-beginners-guide-to-powered-by-the-apocalypse-games/) framework. It was first published in 2011 and has since become one of the most popular tabletop RPGs in the world.
Two years ago, the original creators of Dungeon World commissioned a new design team to develop **Dungeon World 2**, bringing the game up-to-date and taking into account 15 years of evolution, creativity and play in the PbtA community since the early days of the game. This new ruleset is not yet ready for public testing, but a series of closed alphas took place in 2025.
On 2 February 2026, a 'final alpha' ruleset was distributed to a small community for a round of playtesting during the spring. This game is part of that playtesting round.
**About this game**
Using the final alpha ruleset, we will design a set of characters and then jump into a short adventure entitled The Orchard of Glass Wolves.
You don't have to know anything about Dungeon World or have any specific roleplaying experience to join the game. The ruleset is designed to be beginner-friendly.
Also, it's worth saying that I (as GM) have been working with Dungeon World for many years, but the new alpha ruleset contains a lot of new stuff for me too, so we will be discovering it together!
The outcome of our game, and our feedback on the experimental ruleset, will be shared directly with the designers.
**This adventure will take *two evenings* to complete. If you want to take part, you need to be available on *both* the following dates:**
* **Sunday 15 February, 19:00 at Outpost Brussels** [(sign up)](https://www.meetup.com/boardgamemonkeys/events/313187960/)
* **Tuesday 17 February, 19:00 at Outpost Brussels**
**Please do not sign up for just one session. You must sign up for both -- or neither!**
If you do sign up, please do so in a spirit of experimentation, patience and good humour, and let's see where the game takes us...

Fun Debate : Dogs vs Cats
Loyal goofballs or purry fluffballs?
From the ridiculous amounts we spend on our pets to the way we proudly identify ourselves as “dog people” or “cat people,” our furry companions say a lot about how we live and maybe even who we are.
So let's tackle one of humanity’s oldest, and most important, divisions: Team Dog vs Team Cat 😄
Expect playful arguments, friendly chaos, and zero actual animals harmed 🐶🐱 Just strong opinions and good vibes 😊
This debate will follow a British Parliamentary format with eight debaters split into four teams of two.
Participants who wish to speak are highly encouraged to bring a paper and pen. You are welcome to participate even if you have no prior debating experience.
⚠️ Disclaimer:
We aim for debates that are respectful, constructive, and welcoming.
• Respect ideas and people: Listen actively, stay quiet while others speak, and debate arguments, not identities or beliefs.
• Be concise and civil: Keep questions short and relevant; avoid hostility, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Respect boundaries and time: No unwanted advances or suggestive behavior; arrive on time to avoid disrupting the debate.
• Follow moderators: They guide the discussion and ensure fairness.
Looking forward to seeing you there 😊

Please post your pictures and tag Rosie’s Farm Sanctuary and VSDC! Stick around at the end for a group photo behind the barn.
If there is interest, we may go out to eat in one of our local vegan restaurants afterward.
We are limited to 30 volunteers, so please change your RSVP if you cannot attend.

Native Plant Book Club: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle
Join our partners Watermark Woods Native Plants, Loudoun County Public Library (LCPL), and Birch Tree Bookstore for the Read! Plant! Grow! Book Club, which focuses on native plants, sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and LCPL. At this meeting we’ll discuss the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. Both memoir and journalistic investigation, this book explores how the Kingsolver family took on a new challenge: to spend a year on a locally -produced diet, paying close attention to the provenance of all they consume. Concerned about the environmental, social, and physical costs of American food culture, they hoped to recover what Kingsolver considers our nation’’s lost appreciation for farms and the natural processes of food production.
You can either buy the book from Birch Tree Bookstore or contact Allison Forbes at [Allison.forbes@loudoun.gov](mailto:Allison.forbes@loudoun.gov) to borrow a copy of the book at the library. There are two ways to participate: attend the event online via the library website or [sign up to participate in person at Birch Tree Bookstore](https://www.birchtreebookstore.com/event-details/read-plant-grow-2026-02-24-18-30).

We'll start at the Walker Nature Center and pick up the Cross County Trail (CCT) for an out and back of the northern half of CCT Section . Our turn will be at Gabrielson Garden Park,
**Park on Glade Road so the Nature Center parking lot can be kept open for the Center's pre-school activities and drop-offs.**
