Hogtown Hash House Harriers (HH3) is a Toronto social running and beer drinking group, with runs happening every other Saturday, plus one Thursday and one Friday per month. We start at different locations across the city, run as a group, and typically end at a local pub where we continue to socialize. Expect plenty of laughs, songs, quirky traditions, and a beer stop or two along the way. Walkers and non-beer drinkers are also welcome! HH3’s Saturday run is typically 5-8 km, with a shorter trail for walkers. Meet and greet today is at 5pm to start run around 5:30pm. Note: Today is a special event - Hogtown's annual re-gift party. The Association for Science and Reason will be holding our regular in-person Skeptics in the Pub event. (Monthly Zoom meetings will continue as usual, but we will also be doing monthly in-person events on the second Tuesday of every month). We will get together for a social event to say hello to people we may have only met on-line and to reconnect with some long-time acquaintances. We will not be having a presentation or a speaker, just a chance to sit down and have a meal and/or a beverage and a conversation with a pleasant group of fellow skeptics. Food and beverages are available from the menu. Foods include a full menu from soups and appetizers to entrées and dessert. The beverage menu includes over 70 different beers on tap, many bottled beers, a selection of wines, various cocktails, and as well as non-alcoholic drinks. We'll be at the Prenup Pub, 191 College St, Toronto, (on the south side of College). If the space is available, we will be on the ground floor, near the bar, to the right as you come in, otherwise ask the staff where the "Skeptics" are. The Prenup Pub is about a 350m, 5-minute walk west of Queens Park subway station, or about a 450m, 6-minute walk from Spadina and College. There are a couple of public parking lots about the same distance away. If you plan on joining us, please register so we can estimate the number of attendees.

Let's try this again! Join us as we gather on a January Sunday at one of our old favorites, Fleetwood Farm Winery. This time I am sure that they will be open... Let's get toasty in front of their roaring stone fireplace in the main tasting room. They have a good selection of red and white Virginia wines, many that have been produced exclusively for them. The grounds are designed to be an escape from the Northern Virginia hustle bustle without the long drive. Outside food is not permitted but they have a full menu of flatbreads, Charcuterie boards, wings, sliders, etc. We will not go hungry!

For our January Happy Hour let's go back to Rai's Pour House! The Happy Hour will be on the second Tuesday of the month. We will meet at Rai's Pour House which is owned by the same people who own and Rai's Rendezvous, Rai's Pizza and Sully's Pour House. First one of 2026 at Verre in Virginia, come on out and let's kick off the post-holiday wine season! **EVENT STARTS AT 6PM. PLEASE BE PROMPT.** 🍷What is blind wine tasting?🍷 You use your sense of smell, sight, and taste to try to deduce which variety (grape) is in the glass. This group is very experience-diverse and we welcome both wine newbies and wine pros (and everyone in between). Verre will pour us two wine flights, one white and one red (3 of each, so a total of 6 wine samples) and we will discuss what we are tasting to try to solve the mystery together. After each flight is a big reveal where we find out just how right (or wrong!) we were. Diana will let us know the possible wines we are going on grid tonight. Please arrive at **6:00pm**. The white wine flight is served around 6:10 and the red flight around 6:50. The cost will be about $15 per flight, depending on what is poured for us.
