**What happens in an Ecstatic Awakening Dance⢠Class?**
The Ecstatic Awakening Dance⢠class has 5 stages:
Stage 1: **BODY WARM-UP** ā a gentle awakening of the body using movement and music.
Stage 2: **SHAKE** ā We use shaking medicine to open blocked energy-meridians to shake off stress and tension and to awaken our life force which is often āsleepyā.
Stage 3: **BREATH OF FIRE AND ECSTATIC DANCE** ā this is free flow movement and we use the breath of fire to get into a trance state and energise the body.
Stage 4: **STILLNESS** ā when the music stops, so does the dance and you simply drop to the ground in silence and stillness to allow the integration of energies and deep relaxation.
Stage 5: **MEDITATION** ā now we complete the process with a simple guided visualisation to ground ourselves and come back to our everyday lives in a place of peace, clarity and self-love.

Salsa Bachata Practice with our friend DJ Leo
We at Freesalsa Ireland believe in growing the community, something our friend DJ Leo also believes in.
Therefore, we are delighted to promote his weekly practice here on our Meetup for those of you looking to spend their Sunday in the best way.
There will be a 60-minute lesson before social with the award-winning DJ Leo until 17.00.

Zazen Meditation + Dharma talk or Kinhin
The meaning of the word zen is meditation, zazen means sitting meditation. In zazen practice we begin to know ourselves, and to go beyond the limits of our personal ego. Within our tradition zazen is referred to as shikantaza, not doing, letting go of thoughts, dropping off body and mind. This sitting meditation is the focus of our practice. Language limits our ability to communicate the true nature of zen; it is something that is better understood
through practice. We are open to everyone interested in learning about zen.
Intro workshop for newcomers is available at 5.30pm each Sunday. The dojo is a sacred place and it is important to be considerate of everyone. We have many people that travel to practise together once a week or once a month. So for that reason it is really essential that we all know the structure of the sitting practise (when to sit, how to do Kinhin, the different bell sounds and their meaning etc), to ensure a silent, safe and meaningful meditation. And it's also great to meet everyone before the sitting practise. And answer any questions you may have.
We have zafus and zabutons (mats and cushions) for all to sit on. Chairs are available too.
Comfortable clothing for sitting, black or neutral tones best.
We greatly appreciate a donation of ā¬5 to cover costs if it's possible for you.
Please arrive 10min before start so 6ish (if you're not doing the intro workshop).

A weekly guided bodyweight callisthenics meetup to **get strongerātogether**.
Think push-ups, squats, and core work scaled to your level. **No gym experience needed**, just a willingness to move and chat! Get stronger every week and build a habit!
All **ages, genders and fitness levels welcome**!
The session will consist of a full 360 routine of:
**5 minute warm up:** including exercises like butt kicks and shoulder rotations.
**5 minute plyo:** Train explosiveness at your level.
**35/45 minute strength**: to build muscle. Easy, intermediate to hard versions for every level.
**15 minute HIIT:** for some happy endorphins! (Okay to skip if you're tired!)
**5 minute Cooldown:** Get the heart rate down and stretch

A 2nd century stone relief in the Himalayan mountains shows us that Buddha and his entourage knew this before Christ walked the earth.
The stone relief depicts the Buddha and his buddies playing ancient Tibetan singing bowls.

A magical alchemy of 7-12 different metals rings in the past, present, and future for our relaxing enchantment. Even modern doctors are using these old metal bowls for healing, and they are not practicing Buddhists!
As a matter of fact, modern Buddhists no longer use the bowls in their practice.
