In this beginner-friendly event, we’ll explore a fully interactive fast-food restaurant inside Second Life, where: • You’ll enter the restaurant as an avatar • Place a “real-style” order using a menu • Interact with a roleplayed worker • Experience how everyday activities can exist in virtual worlds This is not a game night and not a sales pitch — it’s a live, hands-on experience designed to show how virtual worlds can recreate real-life moments like ordering food, waiting in line, and social interaction. 💡 This event is perfect if you’re: * Curious about virtual worlds but don’t know where to start * Interested in how real businesses could experiment virtually * Shy in real life but comfortable using an avatar * Just curious to see how “normal life” can exist digitally No Second Life experience required. The monthly meetings are held much like a mini-conference with 4-8 speakers and only a few basic but strict rules. Participation and Permission Active Participation is required for continued membership and is the only due required.
