CTRL+ALT+ME - New Year Art Therapy Workshop
CTRL+ALT+ME - New Year Art Therapy Workshop
**\*\*Please read before registration - paid event\*\*** *Already exhausted by the words “resolution, goals and visionboard”?* *When was the last time you actually stopped to check in with yourself?* *What if clarity came from slowing down, not speeding up?* **CTRL+ALT+ME** is a gentle reset—not a “new year, new you” situation (because… no). This isn’t a productivity workshop or a vision-board goal setting kind of activity. Time is weird and kind of fluid anyway, so, consider this a pause button rather than a fresh start. Through art therapy, we’ll reflect on what’s been quietly holding us back, where our energy’s been leaking, and what no longer deserves our attention. No pressure to have answers. Just noticing, becoming conscious, and shifting perspective—with intention and curiosity. It’s a chance to try something new, step a little outside your comfort zone, and sit with the reflections you didn’t have time for during the rushhour. Leading the workshop: Jennifer Nyerki (Art and Sociotherapist Candidate) Date: 18 January 2026 Time: 09:30-13:30 Location: Kisvilág Fee: 8,500 HUF Payment: via bank transfer only! Places are filled in the order of payments. To register, please send an email to [thearttofreedom@gmail.com](mailto:thearttofreedom@gmail.com) **Cancellation Policy:** \- Full refund for cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop\. \- 50% refund for cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop\. \- Registrations may be transferred to another person with prior notice\. \- No refunds for no\-shows\. \- Full refund if rescheduled/cancelled due to the organiser\. \- No refund for late arrivals\. **What is art therapy?** Art therapy is a self-development tool that uses creative expression for emotional awareness and personal growth. The field of Art Therapy is diverse, with each branch having its own area of expertise - visual arts, movement, dance, music, and drama..etc The focus is not on the final artwork, but on the journey and what it reveals. **Important:** *This is not an art workshop or an art course. The workshop does not qualify and does not replace psychotherapy but is a meaningful addition to the self discovery journey. Furthermore, it is not recommended for those undergoing neurological or psychiatric treatment.* **What to expect:** \- no prior artistic skills or experience required \- various creative techniques \- group and individual exercises \- express and explore emotions freely \- process over outcome \- experience a supportive and inspiring environment\, the collective energy of the group can deepen personal reflection and foster a sense of belonging

Gaming, AdTech, EdTech, Media Streaming, and FinTech are just a few of the workloads where high-availability cloud infrastructure matters. Whether you’re doing battle daily in one of these spaces or are just curious about ways to improve performance, meet us in Reston for an in-person discussion on bare metal cloud architecture. You’ll meet our product lead, James MacKenzie, who will walk through how modern bare metal serves as a control plane for hybrid and private cloud architectures. **What we will cover** * Ways to leverage bare metal, containers, and orchestration for better performance and predictable economics; * Real-world hybrid, disaster recovery, and data-intensive architectures; * Our approach to eliminating ingress and egress fees. **Who should attend** * Cloud architects and platform engineers; * DevOps professionals and infrastructure leads; * FinOps stakeholders managing data-heavy or hybrid workloads. **Why attend** This is a technical, architecture-first conversation. You will leave with a clearer understanding of high-availability cloud infrastructure and how organizations are scaling cost-effectively. Food and drinks will be provided.
