A 2.5 hours oil color - acrylics painting lesson. **About this course** This is a painting workshop with the goal of teaching people how to create paintings using either oil colors or acrylics. The total subject lessons consists of around **27 lessons** that last 2.5 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. On each lesson the first part will be about theory and exercise and the second one about canvas time. Each participant will have the chance to work on canvas and start making paintings as artworks. All materials are provided by us. Each lesson has a subject. We do not follow a particular order, and every lesson is actually unique and many times personalized. This means that every time the attendess will have to do something new and different. You do not have to paint on canvas and with the mentioned art materias, you can also choose to use any of your wish. Most of the observations and exercises work well with all art materials. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the canvas painting process. **Spend a playful, reflective afternoon exploring your identity through art, symbolism, and tarot.** You’ll learn about the symbolism and visual language of tarot and take inspiration from the vibrant *Queer Tarot* deck by Ash and Chess. Throughout the session, you’ll experiment with **acrylic inks to create expressive, layered backgrounds** and **collage techniques to design and compose the imagery on each card.** Guided instruction will support you as you explore **composition, color balance, and visual storytelling** — helping you blend intuitive art-making with design principles. Acrylic portraits & live storytelling. **About this event** In this workshop, three storytellers will pose and share their stories while the rest of the participants create painted portraits of them. Each pose lasts 20 minutes, giving you time to capture their essence on canvas. We’ll be painting with acrylics using table easels provided at the venue. Basic materials such as acrylic paints, hard painting paper, and easels are included in your normal painting spot ticket. Small canvases will be available for purchase (ranging from 3€ to 9€), or you can bring your own art supplies. This **gi class** is held every **Tuesday** and **Thursday** and includes **one hour of instruction** and **30 minutes** (sometimes longer, TBD) of **open training**.
