**Make a Fondue Set Together** In this workshop, each participant creates one piece of a shared fondue set. Each piece is made individually, but the set only works when everyone comes back together. This is a hands-on ceramic workshop focused on collaboration, creativity, and spending quality time with others. You’ll work with clay, learn basic hand-building techniques, and create functional pieces that will be glazed, fired, and ready to use. **What's Included** * All clay, ceramic tools and painting tools * Two kiln firings required to finish the pieces created, including glazing, which makes the final piece waterproof and ready for culinary use No prior experience is needed. RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot!! If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation **ASAP** so those on the wait list are able to RSVP and attend!!! **Meeting Room:** Enter the coffee shop, walk straight towards the play area and on your left you will see a meeting room just past the bathrooms. The room has a TV, white board, and walls are painted green. **What to Bring:** Whatever helps you focus, and be productive. There is a wall outlet at each end of the room, so you're able to bring your laptop to write. You're welcome to bring headphones if you enjoy listening to music while working. **Parking & Accessibility:** there is a large parking lot out front and it is free! This film is 85 minutes and an optional short discussion with the group will follow. **This event will tentatively be hosted at the MLK Library.** Synopsis: A rediscovered treasure of independent cinema, this incisive comedic drama follows Rainbow Gold (Victoria Gabrielle Platt), a teenager coming of age in Brooklyn, as she looks to two vastly different models of womanhood: her straitlaced mother, Alma (Kim Weston-Moran), who runs a hair salon in the parlor of their home and disapproves of her daughter’s newfound interest in boys; and her free-spirited, larger-than-life aunt Ruby (Mizan Kirby), who has just returned from Paris after a ten-year absence and whose presence shakes up the household.
