Invitation a tous a se rencontrer au Sidney Myer Music Bowl le samedi 14 fevrier pour ecouter au "Melbourne Symphony Orchestra" qui offre un concert graduit de music classique. This is an invitation to all to join us on Saturday 14 February for a free concert by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the Sidney Music Bowl preceded by a picnic at the spot. See above links for details. The concert starts at 7.30pm, but we can meet from about 5.00 pm for a picnic before the music starts. Please see details above for entry. Important: as this is an outdoor event in summer, it may be cancelled if the weather is bad and if the temperature exceeds 35C. Update: Where and how to meet. I will be near the main gates inside the perimeter of the venue at about 5.00 pm. We will then find a good spot on the grass to sit. When we are inside I will post on meetup where we are. We will get-together at the KereKere cafe - at the community table just inside the cafe entrance. *This is a group for people with intermediate and advanced level French who are able to engage in a conversation en français. It is not suitable for beginners.* The cafe is close to the corner of Wellington Parade and Lansdowne St, East Melbourne in the Fitzroy Gardens. It takes about 5 minutes on Tram 75 from Flinders St Station, or 15 minute walk. Car parking around Fitzroy Gardens on Sundays now is $2 per hour with a 4 hour limit, Some parking is limited to 1 hour even on Sunday. And occasionally, if there is a game at the MCG for example there might not be much parking at all.
