**🎉 Happy New Year, Startup Berlin! 🎉** First of all: happy new year to everyone in the community – founders, builders, operators, and the startup-curious 👋 I’m excited to step in as a new organizer and help keep Startup Berlin a practical, founder-first network. To kick off 2026, I’m thinking about a **casual “Happy New Year” get-together** in Berlin: * 🍕 Pizza & 🍺 beer * 🤝 relaxed networking * 🎓 a **30-minute practical intro session**: **“Anatomy of a … agreement”** (no legalese, no theory – just what actually matters in practice) After the short session, plenty of time to hang out, meet people, and exchange war stories. **Update: It is going to be about the Convertible Loan Agreement!** Further topics to be covered in future sessions: * Shareholders’ Agreement – control, vetoes, deadlocks, exits * Employment Agreements – early hires, ESOP/VSOP, typical pitfalls * Founder Agreements – equity splits, vesting, break-ups * Something else?
