Build Your Brand Blueprint 🚀 is a fast-paced, hands-on 2-Hour strategic workshop followed by a networking session (DRINK INCLUDED 🍷) designed for entrepreneurs, founders, and early-stage businesses who want to build a brand that truly connects — and sells.
In a market full of noise 📣, your brand is more than visuals — it’s how people feel, remember, and talk about you. This workshop will guide you through the essential strategic layers of branding so you can build a foundation that supports growth 📈, visibility 👀, and trust 🤝.
Together, we’ll work through core strategic elements:
Who you are 🧩 — your brand essence, voice, and differentiation
What you stand for 🌟 — your mission, values, and positioning in the market
Who you serve 🎯 — defining and understanding your ideal audience and their emotional triggers
How you show up 🎨 — translating strategy into consistent, aligned brand expression across all touchpoints
You'll leave with a clear brand blueprint 📝 you can immediately apply — whether for your website, pitch deck, messaging, content, or visual direction. This isn't theory — it’s a practical session built to help you make confident branding decisions going forward.
✨ After the workshop, stay for a relaxed networking session 🍹 to connect with like-minded founders, exchange feedback, and build valuable brand-driven collaborations. DRINK INCLUDED!

Talk with Google Design Lead Gabe Ferreira: AI and the creative process
We’re excited to welcome a new speaker to our next Design Talk: Gabe Ferreira, Design Lead at Google.
In his talk, Gabe will talk about AI and the creative process.
AI represents the most disruptive moment the creative industry has seen since the popularization of the internet.
Processes, expectations, output, and possibilities have changed (and will continue to change) quickly and dramatically; for the worse when AI is used carelessly, potentially for the better when applied thoughtfully.
Organized in 6-10 (short) chapters and 2 (even shorter) intermissions, the talk will go over tools, projects, observations and predictions that inform, prepare, and provoke.
Here is a preview of what you can expect:
1. How studios are using GenAI (examples from real world projects)
2. When is it ok to use GenAI in your creative projects? (with examples)
3. Good and Bad GenAI ads I’ve seen, and why … and how certain brands are reacting/pushing back.
4. 2 paths forward as a creative (many jobs will be lost, some new ones will surface)
5. Artists exploring GenAI as a new medium
After the talk, we’ll hang out and enjoy some drinks and snacks!
🗓️ January 21st, 7 PM
📍 Bau, Carrer de Pujades, 118, Sant Martí, 08005 Barcelona
🎟️ Free
Anyone taking part in the event agrees that the organizer accepts no liability. By participating in the event, you also agree to videos and pictures being taken for later publication online.
See you soon, designer friends! 🫶

This Is Not Precious: How I use Design Thinking to Create Bestselling Games
**\*This is an in-person event\***
Most people hold their ideas too tightly. They refine too early, hesitate to share half-formed concepts, and wait for “perfect” before putting anything in front of a user. Frankie Abralind works the opposite way and that mindset is a big part of why his projects succeed.
In this session, Frankie walks you through his real creative process: messy drafts, discarded versions, surprising user reactions, and the moments when he threw out something he loved because the evidence pushed him in a new direction. You’ll see firsthand how treating ideas as *disposable, not precious* accelerates learning and leads to better outcomes.
You’ll also get to examine real artifacts from the development of his games **BrainSpin**, **DIEKY**, and **eckso**. Explore prototypes, dive into design dilemmas, and hear candid stories of iteration, failure, and breakthrough that have earned former DT:DC director Frankie Abralind a reputation as an “entrepreneur who ships.”
**What you'll learn**
• What you need to test an idea quickly
• Where to find real users (beyond friends and family)
• How to ask non-leading, non-biasing questions
• User-testing methods that uncover meaningful insights
• Best practices for rapid iteration
• How to log feedback, share modifications, and track updates
• How to receive feedback with openness and use it productively
• How to build, and reward, a network of testers and supporters
**Agenda**
**6:00pm** – Snacks & connection
**6:30pm** – Case Study 1: *BrainSpin* — finding user testers
**6:50pm** – Case Study 2: *DIEKY* — play tester appreciation
**7:10pm** – Case Study 3: *eckso* — rapid prototyping
**7:30pm** – *Zenmo* — live user testing
**8:00pm** – Debrief & questions
**8:30pm** – Adjourn
**About our presenter**
**Frankie Abralind** is an experience designer, artist, and neurodiversity advocate. He earned his MBA from the University of Maryland, where he has taught “Innovative Thinking” to graduate students since 2014. He also served as co-director of the Innovation Hub at Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital.
In 2018, Frankie co-founded **The Good Listening Project**, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening psychological safety in healthcare. He is the inventor of the bestselling game **BrainSpin**, which showcases the power of divergent thinking and collaboration. Today, he leads the stealth startup **Zenmo**, which helps people connect through color.
