**Foundations of Meditation** is a 4-week course designed for people who have **never meditated before**, or for those who have tried meditation but struggled with consistency.
If you feel curious about meditation but don’t know where to start — or you’ve started many times and stopped — this course is for you.
Together, we’ll explore the foundations of meditation in a **simple, practical, and grounded way**, so you can build a practice that feels realistic, supportive, and easy to continue at home.
This course is not about doing meditation “perfectly.”
It’s about learning how to sit with yourself — gently, consistently, and with kindness.
Each session combines short teachings, guided practices, time for sharing, Q&A, and practical tools you can apply immediately in your daily life.

Meditación Zen
La meditación dura unos 40-45 minutos. Normalmente asisten personas del centro Harayoga, así que si ves que no hay nadie apuntado en meetup la sesión se realizará igual y lo más probable es que ya haya apuntada gente por otros canales. El coste de la sesión suelta es de 5 euros y la mensualidad ilimitada de 25 euros. Todo a pagar en el mismo centro Harayoga. Es importante ser puntual. Trae ropa comoda. Hay vestuarios si necesitas cambiarte. Ya hay cojines de meditación en el centro.

On this guided tour with a difference, discover how to live life lucidly in the present moment, open to your senses, listen to yourself and start to be your own guide!
Using a walk through the streets of Barcelona as practice, I will guide you in a mindfulness meditation which will help you get out of your head, bringing attention to your senses and the felt sensations in the body, stepping into deeper awareness of yourself, making your experience of the city even more magical and vibrant.
We will begin our time together in the hidden oasis of carrer d’Allada Vermell, in the barrio of El Born, with an initial guided meditation. From this point of connection to yourself, anchored in the present, will we continue the practice walking through El Born with its winding streets and surprises around every corner.
On our magical tour of sensorial delights, lasting approximately 2 hours, we will take in such places as the Palau de la Musica, Casa Perris, Funky Baker, Santa Maria del Mar and Santa Caterina Market, ending up at a nearby square for a chat about your experience.

**Come join us to enjoy and share a session inspired by yoga and the energy of the lunar cycle.**
Each week, we explore a different practice that aligns with the current moon phase (for example, Full Moon: gratitude; Waning Moon: letting go…)
The heart of the session is the yoga practice, but we also include a deep meditation of at least 10 minutes, and we close the session with therapeutic writing or artistic expression as a way to integrate the experience.

**🥇 ¿Cuál es la habilidad social más importante?** Después de toda la semana trabajando, llega el finde y es normal que cueste cambiar el chip y socializar. Por eso la habilidad más importante es saber cómo "**darle la vuelta" a tu estado emocional**. En otras palabras: saber qué hacer para pasar de tener una cara de culo, apoyado en la barra, a ser **el tipo social con el que todos se ríen** y que **expande la fiesta**. Y saber hacerlo cada noche por sistema con el mismo método.
**🍒 ¿Cómo lo haremos?** En **Impro for Dating** hemos seleccionado los juegos de improvisación que mejor funcionan para "salir de nuestra cabeza racional" y mejor se adaptan a situaciones sociales y dating.
**🎯 El objetivo** es que siempre puedas pasar de **"una noche más"** 👎 --- a una ---> **noche memorable 😎** donde haces amigos y conoces a alguien que te atraiga.
**💡 Quédate con esta idea:** *"Lo que tú sientas, ella lo sentirá también"* (Whatever you feel, she feels). Por eso es tan importante aprender a gestionar tu estado.
**🔒 Este es un ambiente seguro** y libre de juicios. Si en algún momento crees que estás "haciendo el ridículo" es que lo estás haciendo bien porque **estás tomando riesgos**. Eso es más importante que analizarlo todo minuciosamente y desde la mente racional, ya que una vez entras en buen estado **tu mejor versión empieza a salir** y empiezas a hacer todo de forma socialmente calibrada. Este Meetup es como tomarse un par de cubatas pero sin resaca al día siguiente.
**⛈️ ¿Dudas si venir porque hoy no tienes el día?** Precisamente por eso tienes que venir. Cuanto peor te sientas, mejor es el reto de cambiar tu mood. Así que mueve el culo y vente. Si no te sientes cómodo, puedes irte cuando quieras.

Freya’s Teas – February Energetic Herbalism Workshop
Have you ever wondered what goes into a tea blend that not only tastes delicious, but also nourishes the body, mind, and soul?
Did you know that herbs have long been connected to the rhythms of the seasons, astrological signs, and chakras?
Join Sonja in this interactive workshop where you will craft your own tea blend infused with both the quiet wisdom of the winter season and a personal intention for the new year.
The workshop will begin with Freya’s Sacred Wintering Blend—a thoughtfully chosen mixture of herbs designed to gently nourish the body and calm the mind during winter’s stillness. Participants will mix the herbs themselves as Sonja explains the energetic and supportive qualities of each plant and why it was selected for this blend. You will be able to add an (optional) herb from a selection of 3 additional herbs, allowing each participant to further personalize their tea and intention.
Sonja’s approach to herbalism is deeply rooted in lived experience. Raised in a household where natural remedies were honored, she carried these traditions into her own family as she raised her children.
As her connection to plant medicine continued to deepen, Sonja pursued formal training in herbalism with renowned herbalist Rosemary Gladstar.
Today, sharing this knowledge has become a heartfelt passion—guiding others to reconnect with nature as a source of nourishment, balance, and gentle healing.
Workshop Experience
1. Seasonal Herbal Wisdom & Energetics
A guided exploration of three carefully chosen herbs whose energetic, spiritual, and wellness qualities align with February’s themes of rest, reflection, and intentional recalibration. We will observe how plants, like humans, are conserving nutrients and storing energy beneath the surface—preparing quietly for the growth and expression of spring.
2. Intuitive Tea Blending Ritual
Participants will be able to create, with Sonja’s assistance, a personalized tea blend using four seasonal herbs. With 3 pre-chosen herbs that embody nourishment, strength, and gentle activation and a fourth herb chosen by participants to reflect personal intention, weaving individual purpose into the collective energy of preparation and renewal.
3. Freya’s Teas Intention Ceremony
Through a guided tea ceremony, we will consciously infuse our blends with intention—honoring the plant allies, the season, and the inner work of rooting dreams before they emerge. This ritual invites presence, gratitude, and embodied connection with the medicine we have created.
4. Meditation & Integration
The gathering will close with a grounding meditation to anchor intentions into the physical and energetic body. This final integration offers space to reflect, receive, and gently call in the path unfolding ahead as we move toward the returning light of spring.
This workshop includes herbal instruction by Sonja and printed instructions to take home, supplies to make your own tea blend, tea ceremony, and guided meditation. Each participant will take home their own tea blend pouch with 15 servings (a $12.50 value).

Zen Meditation Sunday Evenings
Join us for a quiet, grounded Sunday evening practice in community.
We typically gather with 6–12 practitioners for seated and walking meditation, along with a short Dharma talk or practice instruction offered by one of our teachers or senior students. Our guiding teacher is authorized in the Soto Zen lineage and has practiced Zen for 25 years.
**Schedule**
* Please arrive by **6:45 pm** to settle in
* First bell rings at **7 pm sharp**
*(If you arrive late, please wait in the hallway until the next bell.* *Someone will greet you)*
* 25 minutes of silent sitting
* 5 minutes of walking meditation
* 25 minutes of sitting with Dharma talk
* 5 minutes of walking meditation
* 15 minutes of closing meditation or chanting
* We close with tea and informal conversation
On **first Sundays**, we offer a relaxed meet-and-greet with tea, discussion, and light snacks. Newcomers are especially encouraged to attend—teachers are available for orientation and basic instruction.
**Experience**
No prior experience is necessary. You may sit on a cushion or a chair. Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, you are welcome here. It is offered free of charge.
