Drink & Paint Visionboard
* Leinwand, hochwertige Zeitschriften, Kleber, Scheren, Stanleymesser, verschiedene Farben, Kreiden, Stifte und vieles mehr
* Getränke und kleine Snacks
Ich leite und begleite dich durch den Nachmittag / Abend und helfe dir zu den tieferen Schichten deiner Wünsche vorzudringen und natürlich auch bei der kreativen Umsetzung.
The Wicca Study Group - Vienna 2026
**REGISTRATION CLOSES MONDAY 12.01.2026 at 23:30**
[https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-wicca-study-group-2025-tickets-1975226735337?aff=oddtdtcreator](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-wicca-study-group-2025-tickets-1975226735337?aff=oddtdtcreator)
A six-month course in the basic theory and practice of the Craft, focusing on a monthly ritual/magical experience that will give you a taste of what it is to practice Wicca.
Have you heard about Wicca and wondered if it might be something for you? Have you always been curious about magic, witches and wizards, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings and such things and wanted to give it all, somehow, a try? Have you been practicing the Craft on your own or with a group in some form and wanted to get to know some experienced, initiated Wiccans? Are are you simply interested in spirituality, perhaps have done some yoga and meditation, and wanted to give a western path a try?
Join us for The Wicca Study Group and get a real experience of Wicca in a relaxed, fun, and friendly environment. We'll work with Wiccan philosophy and practice (focusing on practice), ritual, and magic. We'll connect with natural inner (and outer) sources of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, and we'll begin to learn to attune ourselves with the power of nature, both our own nature and the nature of trees and mountains and lakes and streams and the seasons and all the rest...
As a Mystery tradition, Wicca cannot promise ultimate answers or unshakeable, immutable truth. Wicca has no Bible, no dogma, no Pope. It is a path not of belief but of practice and personal experience, not of ultimate answers, but of ever-renewing, fascinating questions. Not the peace of a Sunday afternoon, but an ever-deepening life of spiritual adventure.
And it's fun! Wicca is a balanced path of both reverence and mirth. We hope you'll join us for what promises to be a fantastic spring of learning the Craft!
**The Wicca Study Group will be held in English.**
The (two) instructors are initiated, active Wiccans (British Traditional Wicca) with more than thirty years combined experience.
**NOTE:** The Wicca Study Group is not initiatory training, nor is it required for initiatory training, nor is it the only pathway to obtaining initiatory training. It also does not guarantee access to initiatory training. It is simply a chance to get some experience of Wicca to find out if it might be with your thing, and/or to learn some things you can start practicing on your own. AND it is often an initial step for people who want to practice Wicca in a satisfying way on their own, or for people who, down the road, are seeking initiation.
**The Wicca Study Group will Meet Once a Month for Six Months, will start at 20:00 and will run approximately 2-3 hours.**
**You need to register before the beginning of the first session to take part. No joining in the middle as the lessons build on each other. We run the Study Group every year, so they'll always be another chance.**
**The Event will be held in Vienna, Austria. In Person (not online). The exact location ( in Vienna) will be shared with participants after they have registered.**
**The dates this time are:**
1. January 16- 20:00- 23:00
2. February 13- 20:00- 23:00
3. March 27th 20:00- 23:00
4. April 24th 20:00- 23:00
5. May 29th 20:00- 23:00
6. June 19th 20:00- 23:00
***The registration purchased here is for all six sessions. There will be no additional charges, but for some sessions you might need to bring some materials to be used in the sessions. "Eye of Newt, Wing of Bat" and so on... ;-) Everything will be easily obtainable in Vienna, and we try to keep the costs low. None of it is something you need to (or even can) buy from us.***
Wicca is an eclectic, diverse tradition with many, many strands. The Wicca Study Group is based, loosely, on the vision of Wicca expressed in the book **Wicca: A comprehensive guide to the Old Religion in the modern world** by Vivianne Crowley. While not strictly required, we highly recommend buying a copy of the book to read through alongside the course- [https://amzn.eu/d/cLycdTW](https://amzn.eu/d/cLycdTW) Also If you're not sure about joining the course, reading that book would also be a fantastic way to get a sense of if our style of Wicca might be something for you.
Please, if you have the means, do buy the book rather then download it for free. We get nothing from the purchase of the book, but know the author and as such would like to promote the karmic virtue of supporting writers of good books! :-)
**Registration includes access to an online classroom where materials will be uploaded and the class can communicate with each other and with the instructors for the duration of the class as you attempt to put into practice what you are learning. Sessions will be (to the extent possible given what we are doing) recorded (audio only) and shared in the online classroom (along with any documents used) so you can review material, or in case you are unable to attend a session.**
**NOTE: Clicking RSVP does not register you for the event- it's just a friendly "I want/intend to come". To come you have to apply, register, and buy a ticket below:**

The Inner Pilgrimage - A Meaningful Start into 2026
## **A Contemplative Retreat for Inner Peace and Strength for a Demanding Life**
### As one year quietly fades…
and another gently approaches…
there’s often a subtle pull inside.
A sense…
that we don’t want to fall back
into the same old rhythms,
the familiar patterns,
the expectations that no longer feel alive.
Something in us wants to begin differently —
more consciously,
more meaningfully.
And for many of us,
after years of building,
achieving,
and doing everything we once hoped for…
another question begins to whisper underneath it all:
**What truly matters now?**
When the striving softens,
and the world finally grows quiet…
a deeper longing rises.
Not for more to accomplish.
Not for more to manage.
But for something real.
Something that feels like truth.
**The Inner Pilgrimage** is for these exact moments —
when freedom feels strangely heavy,
when the old tools no longer bring clarity,
when the next step is no longer outward…
but inward.
It isn’t about resolutions.
It isn’t about goals.
It isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about listening again.
It’s about coming home to yourself before the year unfolds.
It’s about giving yourself a gentle, meaningful inner boost —
so you can begin 2026 grounded, clear, aligned…
and quietly connected to what truly matters.
### **Essence**
In a world that constantly asks for more —
more effort,
more speed,
more responsibility —
this weekend offers a simple invitation:
Pause.
Breathe.
Come home.
**The Inner Pilgrimage** is not a journey outward.
It is a soft descent inward —
into stillness,
into presence,
into the quiet clarity that has been waiting beneath the noise.
You won’t be traveling far.
But you may return changed.
This is a space to rest.
To listen.
To rediscover the strength and peace within you
that daily life so easily consumes.
> The most meaningful journeys are not those that take us far away,
> but those that bring us deeply home.
## **Program Overview**
The morning begins slowly.
A settling.
A gentle arriving into your body, your breath, your presence.
* A welcome into stillness
* A quiet talk: *What does it mean to walk a pilgrimage of the soul?*
* Guided inner reflection: *Where am I on my path right now*
* Time for journaling, sensing, or resting
* A soft morning of wordless presence — a Vigil of Stillness
Short lunch break,
softened…
opened…
ready for a different kind of listening.
###
The afternoon continues in quiet.
Not with effort,
but with ease.
* A meditation
* A talk: *Coming home — living from what you discovered*
* A gentle dialogue circle or short reflective moments
* Tea shared in silence
* Time for integration, writing, or contemplation
* A symbolic closing ritual
* Ending the day in silence, presence, and gratitude
You return to your life
not with pressure,
but with clarity…
with strength…
with a renewed sense of direction from within.
### **Atmosphere**
Soft.
Unhurried.
Warm.
Human.
A space where silence isn’t empty —
it’s full of something deeper.
A space where you don’t have to perform,
pretend,
or hold yourself together.
Just be.
As you are.
Light, healthy snacks will be offered
as a small act of *mindful feasting* —
simple, nourishing, grounding.
Nothing loud.
Nothing forced.
Just presence,
warmth,
and the quiet company of others
walking their own inner path.

The Big Speed Friending ⭐ (BINGO EDITION; indoors)
--
**UPDATE: this time we'll still do our usual format of group conversation. The new Bingo concept we're excited about, is taking more time to develop, but stay tuned for next time! Also, we're indoors at a new location (Jo&Joe's 5th floor, see itinerary).**
Are you ready to mingle and make new friends?
A YouTuber visited us and made [this 3-minute video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eG1dYro4u8) 😃👌
**"How does it work?"**
We'll talk in small groups and change every \~10 minutes. After an hour we'll let you mingle freely (and exchange contact info if you like).
**"10 minutes, is that enough to make a new friend?**"
It's enough to see who you vibe with. As one of you said: "There were 4 people I really vibed with. I took their contact info, and I met them for coffee in the following days."
**"Can I bring friends?"**
Great idea! 😃
**"Can I give you feedback about the event?"**
Yes, keep the ideas coming!
**"Give me some great conversation starters!"**
\- A round where everyone names 2 of their favorite interests and why \(or your favorite things to do in Vienna\)
\- What’s a guilty pleasure you secretly love but would never admit in a job interview?
\- What’s the most epic fail you’ve ever had trying to impress someone?
\- What’s a small win you’ve had recently that you’re secretly super proud of
\- If you had to wear a T\-shirt with one ridiculous life motto you believe in\, what would it say?
\- One piece of advice you'd give your younger self\, and why?
\- If you were the main character in a video game\, what would your ‘special move’ be\, and what epic quest would you be on?
\- What’s the weirdest snack you’ve ever invented when you were starving and had nothing in the fridge?
\- What’s something you’ve always wanted to try but never have\, because it seems hard — and what’s the funniest thing holding you back?
\- If you could make one silly rule that everyone in the world had to follow for a day\, what would it be?
\- What’s a bold dream you would pursue if you couldn’t fail?

Open Dialogue – Discovering Together in Vienna
We will meet in a calm and friendly place ( Parc, Café, Restaurant) to explore together some of Jiddu Krishnamurti’s key questions about awareness, relationship, and freedom.
There will be no teaching, no authority — only open dialogue and attentive listening.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are familiar with Krishnamurti or simply curious about life and self-understanding.
We’ll start with an open conversation around a theme such as “Listening without judgment” or “Can thought bring clarity?”
Please bring openness, curiosity, and a readiness to listen — no books or notes needed.
The spirit is not to discuss “what should be,” but to observe together “what is.”

On January 3rd, after a long military buildup, the United States used special forces to seize Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, from their residence in Caracas, Venezuela to stand trial here on criminal charges.
The development marked a major turning point in our relationship with Venezuela and the rest of Latin America and raised a host of complex questions, not just for Venezuelans living inside and outside that country but for American citizens and other nations of the world.
Coming to the stage to break down what all of this means is Ernesto Castañeda, a scholar of Latin America who has given several excellent Profs and Pints talks on immigration policy and has given dozens of interviews to media outlets around the world in the wake of the U.S. raid.
In a talk offering informed perspective on the latest news developments, Professor Castañeda will discuss various theories about why the U.S. conducted the operation to get Maduro out of Venezuela. He’s put our nation’s current plans for Venezuela into context by touching on previous U.S. military interventions in Latin America and beyond.
Professor Castañeda will look at the implications of recent events for U.S. politics and U.S. citizens and what such developments tell us about the balance of power in the United States. He’ll examine the distance between decisions made by the White House and public priorities, touching on how it all relates to our immigration policies and our views about peaceful protest and democracy.
He’ll consider how the Venezuela raid and our actions since have altered relations between the U.S. and other nations and provide scenarios about what the future might hold. (Door: $17, or $15 with a student ID. Listed time is for doors. The talk starts 30 minutes later.)

• 30 second elevator speech? What do I say?!
Your Name
Your Company's Name
What your company does (in basic form)
One key difference maker (deliver on-time, on budget. or We close complicated cases. or We can sell your home quickly and for top dollar. Etc...)
Who you would like to meet in the room or in the area (so we can refer you business :-) )
Keep it short and sweet, there will be plenty of time after and before the meeting to get to know other people in the group and even opportunities to schedule "one to one/1:2:1" meetings. We love to grab our coffee and go out to a spot in the lobby afterwards in one on ones to discuss how we can work together, get to know each other, get business done! So plan a little extra time to meet if need be.
