Expect something new each month as we expand and explore patterns of connection, movement, and application in the ropes. This is a self tie led workshop but you are welcome to bring a partner to tie. All participants must sign up and pay to attend. Students should have their own rope kit and the ability to tie a non-collapsible single column tie. Hemp or Posh rope is highly recommended. Kits should include at least 80 feet of rope and safety shears. MindShift Gym has graciously offered to host our January meetup again! This event is technically free, but donations are strongly encouraged. MindShift has granted us access to their space at no cost to us, but at meaningful cost to *them*. Please consider helping them out a little, as you're able. Come one come all and lets meet others and find new climbing partners! If you are new...Jump in the Learn The Ropes Class (its a great time!) offered M-F at 6 or Sundays at 3pm and then you can climb with the group anytime! Class is Free with membership or just $35. Climbing is more than just muscles, climbing is a great way to engage your whole body and your mind. The price for this event is $18 day pass or free if you have VR Memebership(that's a two dollar discount from the day pass as well as a free harness rental! Score!) Join our weekly walking meetup to have fun, maintain a healthy lifestyle, meet new people, and enjoy the weather! We meet Saturdays at 10am, halfway between the Reston *Container Store* and *Not Your Average Joes* (by the metal benches), leaving no later than 10:05. Every week, rain or shine, we start by walking along the Green Trail to reach Lake Anne Community Center. Once there, we pause for water/bio (often staying a few minutes extra from April-November, due to the local Farmer's Market), and then we circle Lake Anne and head back to our starting point. It's roughly 3-4 miles and takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards, some members will often head to *Not Your Average Joes* or another local restaurant for a quick drink/meal before tackling the day. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Dogs are welcome, and we recommend dressing for the weather (umbrella, water, snow shoes, hat, etc.) since we'll walk rain or shine. Also, feel free to bring a friend! Help us keep the party full and the dice rolling! **What's an open table?** An "open table" is a style of TTRPG play where the game is flexible and inclusive, allowing players to drop in and out of sessions without needing a regular commitment. Instead of a fixed party, each session forms with whoever is available that day, and adventures are designed to be self-contained, starting and ending in a common location. This setup lets players explore the game world at their own pace, without the pressure to attend every session. It’s ideal for players with unpredictable schedules or those who just want to try out a game for a session or two. The open structure keeps the campaign ongoing, with the world evolving based on what happens in each session—even as the player roster changes. **Setting: The Western Frontier** The Crown Prince has done the impossible: a road now traverses the once-impassable mountains at the western edge of the kingdom, opening a gateway to a mysterious and unexplored land. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome.
