In this introductory course, students will learn the history of Indian woodblock before using the technique for themselves to create a printed piece of fabric from start to finish. I will demonstrate the process before allowing students the opportunity to ask questions and practice. Various examples of patterns and motifs will be shared with the group that they can emulate for their own projects. We will provide a handkerchief for the final project, but students are encouraged to bring their own light-weight cotton objects to use instead.
SAT Morn CJ Tennis 3.0-4.0 dbls
Hello members,
As Spring approaches and we get ready for another fun filled tennis season, we wanted to highlight a few of our rules to help everything run as smoothly as possible.Tennis has become much more popular since the pandemic started and court space has been harder to come by. Following these simple rules will help everyone get the most out of MoCo Topspinners Meetup.
• If you RSVP for an event, you will need to attend that event or cancel at least two hours before the event starts. Members that no-show will receive one warning then will be benched (suspended) from events for two weeks. Three no-shows can result in a permanent ban. (No-shows create uneven numbers and prevent folks on the waitlist from playing. Please do your part to un-RSVP as soon as you know that you cannot attend an event.)
• Members must have a way to communicate with organizers and hosts. This can be through the Meetup app messages or by providing other contact info.
• Any member can ask a host or organizer to have their skill rated for event attendance purposes. You will not be allowed to participate in events higher than your NTRP rating. (We may try to limit numbers or have multiple events on a given day to accommodate players of different skill levels and also to help alleviate the court availability problem).
• All members shall conduct good sportsmanship and be courteous to other members at all times.
• Sexual harassment, racism, sexism or any kind of intolerance will not be tolerated and will result in the permanent ban from the group.
• If member receives three warning infractions, the member will be suspended from the Meetup for a period of one month. If a member is suspended twice (six warnings), that member will be permanently banned and any membership dues will then be forfeited.
• If you are scheduling to play with others outside of a MoCo Topspinners event, and you know that there is a MoCo Topspinners event scheduled for that day at that time, please try to use courts other than the courts where the event is scheduled, or move your time so that it does not conflict with the Topspinners event.
For a list of complete rules and definitions you can see the MoCo Topspinners front page. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are hoping for a fun season but we may have to wait for courts and leave earlier than we are used to. Please be patient as we adjust to this new normal and try a few different things that will hopefully help the situation. Happy playing!

Please come out and learn some Kali. Our aim is to train hard, learn some sound defense strategies, and make friends along the way. Although FCS Kali is a combat-oriented systems that involves edged weapons, we provide a safe environment for learning w/o sacrificing realism in our training. We teach in small semi-private groups, allowing each individual student to progress as quickly as he or she can absorb the info being taught. Hope to see you all there.

Step Into the Sacred: A Sacred Cacao Ceremony & Two Guided Shamanic Journeys
This guided ceremony will begin with Cacao; followed by two meditative shamanic Journeys. This will be held indoors by the fire in our large great room. Here’s our current plan for the flow, however this could change depending on how guided by spirit:
**Transformative Cacao Ceremony:** This will be a journey into the heart guided by the healing power of sacred cacao. Rooted in ancient traditions, this ceremonial experience honors and offers a safe, nurturing space for reflection, connection, and renewal. With Cacao, we will open our hearts, set our intentions and awaken the sacred space for the shamanic journeys.
**Guided Shamanic Journey**: The first journey will be a guided visualization taking you into the realms of Earth Magic…
**Guided Shamanic Posture Meditation**: The second experience will involve the practice of trance posture meditation, a powerful method for accessing deeper states of awareness, inner healing, and spiritual connection. This unique guided session invites you to explore the wisdom of your body through sacred postures and rhythmic soundscapes. You will relax into a specific posture guided by an experienced facilitator, combining breathwork, focused intention, and gentle cues including rhythmic sounds designed to support your trance state and enhance your experience.
This will conclude with some journaling and a reflective circle to integrate insights and share your journey with others.
**WHAT TO BRING**: Please bring a mug (for cacao), along with a pen and journal to help reflect what arises in your journeys. If you have a special blanket or amulet, you are welcome to bring that as well.
RSVP is requested so we properly accommodate and spaces are limited to ensure an intimate experience. Reserve your spot today and embrace the journey of self-discovery and community connection.
**FIRST TIMERS**: No prior experience necessary. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get situated. You are also welcome to walk our grounds or check out or crystal shop.
**IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS**: The address is 15406 Riding Stable rd. Property is at end of 1/2 mile driveway into the woods. you will drive over a small stream. Please be EXTRA MINDFUL to drive slowly (under 10 MPH) as to not stir any driveway dust. It is a shared driveway so it’s important to respect our neighbors. Please do not stop to interact with horses.
**COST**: A Suggested scale based on your comfort level of $20-30. If you would like to contribute in another way, please let us know.
With Love & gratitude

Bitcoin Montgomery for Women and Friends
Join us for our first meetup! We will have a discussion on Fiat vs Bitcoin, a little bit of learning and discussions that are important to the group. This a social group so bring your questions and curiosity, prepared to listen and share. Too often, women are left out of the conversation while they prepare to live longer, care for more people and are the heart of any community. Wouldn't it be great if we could be more educated on ways to beat inflation, have more choices, and be prepared for the changes to come?
Please bring your questions, so that we can plan topics for future meet-ups.

Learn & Play Go-Stop, a Korean Card Game
**FOR BEGINNERS**
If you've ever seen Korean movies or K-dramas, you may have seen some characters play with small red cards decorated with flowers and animals. Those cards are called "hwatu" or flower cards. The most popular game played with hwatu is "Go-Stop".
Come to the inaugural meeting of Hwatu Hangout, and learn how to play this awesome game. It can take some time to orient yourself with the cards and rules, but once you do, there's no turning back. It's major fun.
**FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS**
No Tazza-style deck rigging or hand chopping. Most importantly, no gambling. We may play with plastic chips to raise the faux stakes, but that's it! If you'd like to skip the lesson/demo, then please arrive at 2p for game play.
**THE PLAN**

**1:30p - 2:00p**: Demo Game
