For your safety, hiking boots are needed. No shoes or boots with smooth soles. This will be a moderate \~5-mile hike in Rock Creek Park. We will start on the Western Ridge Trail and proceed north just past Military Road, connect to Beach Drive (paved; closed to cars) to return south, and finish with a visit to Pierce Mill and back to our starting point. Parts of this route are paved. **Meeting Point**: I recommend using the GPS coordinates below with Google Maps or another mapping application to get to the meeting point. I've added an alternative place to park in case the first parking lot is full.
