AI-First Coding: Closing the Gap Between Skeptics and Practitioners in Dev Teams
AI-First Coding: Closing the Gap Between Skeptics and Practitioners in Dev Teams
AI coding tools are everywhere now, but adoption is uneven. Some developers use them daily; others remain skeptical. Getting a whole team on board is harder than it looks. This meetup explores the practical side of that challenge โ€” how to bridge the gap between enthusiasts and skeptics, and what actually works when rolling out AI coding across a team. Evgeny Potapov, engineering manager with over 20 years of experience and cofounder of US-based startup ApexData, will share lessons from 1.5 years of navigating this shift: โ€” Why some developers hesitate, and the psychology behind it โ€” What gets adopted easily, and which team practices help โ€” When AI coding won't work and forcing adoption makes no sense โ€” How to push back when AI is the wrong tool for the job If you're a developer, tech lead, or engineering manager facing similar questions, this is a chance to learn from real experience and connect with others on the same path. ๐Ÿ•’ Schedule: 18:30 ๐Ÿฅ‚ Networking, Pizza & Drinks 19:00 ๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome Words 19:15โ€“20:00 ๐ŸŽค Evgeny Potapov: AI-First Coding: Closing the Gap Between Skeptics and Practitioners in Dev Teams

Rise of the Agents: Building the Next Generation of AI Systems
Rise of the Agents: Building the Next Generation of AI Systems
Autonomous AI agents are moving fast ! from cool demos to real systems powering workflows, customer support, research, engineering, and internal ops. But the big question remains: **how do we actually run them in production?** [Batel Zohar](https://www.linkedin.com/in/batelzohar/?skipRedirect=true) & **[Mey Beisaron](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ladymey/)** ## **Shipping AI Agents: What Really Happens in Production** Shipping AI agents is exciting, but once they hit production, you quickly discover what the demos didnโ€™t prepare you for. In this talk, weโ€™ll share the **real best practices** that emerged only after breaking things ourselves what failed, what surprised us, and what we wish we knew earlier. Youโ€™ll hear about the common pitfalls teams run into, the patterns that actually improve stability, how to manage unpredictable behavior, and the guardrails and evaluations that make agents safer and easier to operate. The goal is simple: **help you avoid the mistakes weโ€™ve already made** and give you a realistic, practical approach to running AI agents in production without the chaos. **[Omri Nardi Niri](https://www.linkedin.com/in/omri-niri/)** **The AI Parliament: Our Multi-Agent RAG Setup for Smarter Decisions at Work** At Semperis, we've got a tool simulating a personal squad of AI consultants for our team. It helps our team tackle industry-specific challenges. This approach is inspired by research from both academia and the industry. We built the **AI Parliament** around a multi-agent system, where each AI "consultant" has its own specialized role - like a Senior Engineer, a Data Whiz, each with its own personality to keep it realistic. These personas get created on the fly for the specific purpose of fulfilling the user's immediate goal. When they operate, they're pulling from our company's knowledge base (RAG), so their advice feels tailored and draws on our actual history. **Panel discussion "From Theory to Practice: How Teams Build and Operate Agents Today"** # *[Tal Kimhi ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/talkimhi/overlay/about-this-profile/)[Dana Rozen ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/danarozen/overlay/about-this-profile/)[Rom Iluz ](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rom-iluz/overlay/about-this-profile/)[Omri Nardi Niri](https://www.linkedin.com/in/omri-niri/overlay/about-this-profile/)*

When Roadmaps Break: Product Leadership in the Real World
When Roadmaps Break: Product Leadership in the Real World
You plan your roadmap carefully, but then reality happens. As early-year sales escalations and market signals disrupt your strategy, this meetup explores how to embrace uncertainty rather than resist it. We will focus on adopting a โ€œverify, donโ€™t assumeโ€ mindset and shifting your leadership goal from preventing change to reducing the cost of change. You will learn how to detect strategic risks and respond with a clear decision protocol. Youโ€™ll also learn how to build the continuous feedback loop and cultural foundations needed to keep your product process resilient throughout the year. Walk away with practical frameworks for leading teams and sustaining a healthy product engine when roadmaps inevitably break. **Agenda:** * 18:30 - Assembling: Food, drinks & schmoozing! * 19:00 โ€“ Tal Laufer, Product Leader "The beauty of a broken roadmap - why do roadmaps break, or when they should be" * 19:15 - Q&A #1 * 19:20 โ€“ Asaf Frenkel, Product Growth Lead @ Check Point "When the Q1 Roadmap Breaks: A Product Leader's Incident Response Plan" * 19:35 - Q&A #2 * 19:40 โ€“ Haim Ben Ami, CEO @ Craft.io - "Building the Feedback Loop: How to Nurture a Healthy Product Process" * 19:55 - Q&A #3 * 20:00 - More Schmoozing: Eating to the last bite, until they kick us out. **Our Speakers:** **1\. NOVA Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal, co-working session. People of all skill levels are invited. The concept is simple, bring a laptop and ideas, we'll provide the coffee and donuts! Here's how it works: 1. At 10:15 everyone introduces themselves and briefly describes what brought them to Code & Coffee today (project, homework, networking, etc) 2. For the rest of the day, folks work in the communal space on their projects providing one another help and conversation as needed. Oh and they usually drink coffee and tea too! That's it!
