Some people have expressed interest in playing in Fairfax. Lets set up another game that repeats every 2 weeks at Fairfax Town Center. Look for the group with cards somewhere in the center tables. We play alomost exclusively double deck pinochle. All levels of play are welcome from beginner to expert. We will teach and coach new players.

Join us for a 13.5 mile out-and-back hike on the paved Mount Vernon Trail with a loop around Fort Hunt Park. The trail takes you along a tranquil and scenic section of the Potomac River between Mount Vernon and Dyke Marsh. Eagles and osprey have been spotted in previous years. Meet 9:30 am at the NORTH end of the EAST parking lot for George Washington's Mount Vernon. There are restrooms in the Visitor Center; others along the trail and in Fort Hunt Park (it’s heated!). Bring water, lunch or snacks, and dress for the weather. Sun protection (such as hat & sunglasses) is recommended if the weather is sunny or partly sunny. All participants must sign a liability waiver at the start. SCPRO requests a voluntary donation of $2 per person to help support our all-volunteer program.
