Feel free to share your experiences or just come and listen. **This meet up's theme will be**: HSP x **"Finding Balance as a HSP"** As we start a New Year, I thought a good theme would be to reflect a little bit about the ups and downs of last year, and maybe finding ways for a more balanced year as a HSP. \- If your RSVP is **"waitlisted" - ignore this and just turn up**! \- Please note that the venue "The Castle" hosts other meetups\. Die Gier wurde ioft zu einer Art Grundproblem des Menschen erklärt: Sie ist ein Laster, sie bringt uns von unserer eigentlichen Bestimmung ab, verzerrt unsere Bedürfnisse und kann unser gesamtes Leben ruinieren. Es gab sogar Philosophen, die Übungen oder Trainungsprogramme zur Beherrschung übermäßiger Emotionen wie der Gier erdachten. Ist aber die Gier aber wirklich ein menschliches Dauerproblem oder liegt ihre Ursache in der gesellschaftlichen Realität? So sagen bekanntlich manche Menschen, das "kapitalistische System" bringe die Gier nach Besitz hervor. Was kann eigentlich alles zur Gier werden? Bin ich selbst sogar in bestimmter Hinsicht ein Opfer der Gier? Zu Beginn des Treffens lernen wir die Grundgedanken verschiedener Epochen zum Thema Gier kennen, dann ist die freie Diskussion eröffnet. Wie entsteht sie? Wie damit umgehen? Bis dann!

Hey everyone! I’m organising a co-working + socialising session for all of us who like to work on something (e.g. our own project, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have both **socialising** AND **working**, we will be using the so called “Pomodoro” technique: **50min of deep work** (silent), followed by **10min of break** to socialise. Join us for another session of our study group as we dive into the fascinating world of Large Language Models (LLMs) using the book **Build a Large Language Model from Scratch** from Manning. In this session, we will finish **Chapter 7: Fine-tuning to follow instructions**. In the last session, we talked about how to prepare the dataset for instruction fine-tuning and in this session we will perform the fine-tuning and evaluate the model afterwards. This isn't just a lecture! Come ready to ask questions, share insights, and code along. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this is the perfect opportunity to build a strong foundation together.
