D.A.D.S. Workout
If youâre a dad over 35, you probably feel it:
* Your energy isnât what it used to be.
* Work stress drains you before you even get home.
* The weight has crept on around the middle.
* Your kids still have endless energy, but keeping up with them feels harder every year.
And deep down, you know your family looks to you as the example. If youâre running on empty, short on patience, and out of shape, thatâs the standard you set at home.
The **D.A.D.S. Program (Dads Achieving Discipline & Strength)** was built for men like you. Ordinary guys with jobs, families, and full schedules who want to:
* **Reclaim strength** so you feel capable, athletic, and confident again.
* **Boost energy** so youâre sharp at work and fully present with your family.
* **Drop the aches, stiffness, and sluggishness** that make you feel older than you are.
* **Find balance and accountability** by training alongside other dads in the same fight.
* **Crush male loneliness** by connecting with men who âget itâ and have your back.
Hereâs the best part: You donât need to be a seasoned gym rat. This is designed for **beginner to intermediate exercisers**âdads who may have been out of the gym for years or have never had a structured program, but know itâs time to get serious.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, weâre hosting **Meet-Up Workouts from 6:00â6:45 AM.** No strings attached. Just one powerful hour that could be the turning point in your health, energy, and family life.
There are only **8 spots available**, and once theyâre gone, theyâre gone.
Location: Revolutionary Fitness - 215 N. Payne St., Alexandria, Va 22314
Every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 6:00â6:45 AM
To claim your spot, call/text 703-783-2316 or email sign up directly at [https://go.thefitrevolution.com/dads](https://go.thefitrevolution.com/dads)
Stop putting yourself last. Take this hour, and give your family the stronger, sharper, healthier version of you.
Mindful Indulgence: Using Chocolate to Savor and Slow Down
**A deliciously grounding 1-hour workshop that turns chocolate into a calming and quieting experience for your mind and body.**
Instead of rushing through a treat, youâll learn how to slow down, engage your senses, and savor the moment. Through a guided sensory meditation, youâll experience chocolate in a whole new way, tuning into the subtle shifts and offering a gentle reset for your nervous system.
There will be a variety of chocolates to choose from and you will discover how a single bite can become a grounding ritual of presence and pleasure.
The sweetness will continue after the workshop ends, as you'll be invited to take some chocolate home to enjoy later...a simple reminder to slow down and relish lifeâs moments.
**Investment: $20 \| EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $15 \(register by 2/6\)**
*Registration deadline is Wed 2/11*

ADHD Unmasked: Time to Un-Wind
**Have you spent your life pressing the gas and the brake at the same time?**
Many of us spend years of our adult lives never suspecting we have ADHD. Instead, weâve become experts at a complex balancing act, using high-level overcompensation and performance (the Brakes) to manage a brain fueled by deep meaning and interest (the Gas).
Whether you have a diagnosis or just a hunch that your brain works differently, you are welcome here. If conventional productivity advice has never quite worked for you, itâs time to move toward tools and connections that actually fit how your brain is wired.
**ADHD Unmasked: Time to Un-Wind** is a space for thoughtful, motivated people to move from masking to truly thriving. Weâre here to help each other unmask, reacquaint ourselves with our true selves, and bring that alignment into our daily lives.
**The Vibe**
* **Authenticity over Performance:** No more pretending. Let your nervous system take a real break.
* **Alignment over "Hacks":** When our nervous system is at ease and our actions align with our true selves, the "doing" follows naturally.
* **Safe & Confidential:** This is a circle of trust; our stories belong only to those present.
**The Logistics**
* **Small & High-Fidelity:** To keep our conversation focused and meaningful, we limit our circle to a small group.
* **The RSVP Care:** If you canât make it, just update your RSVP so we know who to welcome and can open the spot for someone else looking to connect.
* **The Flow:** An Authentic Check-In and Sharing, followed by a Theme Discussion to gain new insights for individual application. We wrap up with Takeaways, ready to move back into our world with a bit more ease and a lot more of ourselves. ;)
We see ADHD not as a deficit, but as **Authentically Driven, Highly Discerned**, a brain that works exceptionally well when aligned with the right interest.

With Love, We Rise: A Valentineâs Day Tribute to Federal Workers
Valentineâs Day is a time when we pause to reflect on love, not only romantic love, but the deeper love expressed through compassion, community, and care. For many in the DMV region and nationwide, February 14 also marks one year since the first federal Reduction in Force (RIF) action, a moment that deeply impacted thousands of current and former federal workers, contractors, and their families.
For decades, federal employees and contractors have served our nation with dedication, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose. Recent RIFs and government downsizing have brought sudden change, uncertainty, and emotional strain, impacting not only careers, but identity, stability, and well-being. While the year has brought loss and uncertainty for many, it has also revealed extraordinary resilience, reinvention, and inner strength.
Join the Meditation Museum, a remarkable nonprofit dedicated to saving lives and strengthening communities rooted in resilience and perseverance, as we partner with RIF2RISE for a special Valentineâs Day gathering. Together, we will honor and uplift current and former federal workers and contractors through a compassionate, supportive community presence. This meaningful experience is not to be missed and will offer genuine support to all who attend.
As part of the program, **Dr. Kanu Kogod** will offer a gentle, honest conversation titled **âThe Unwanted Transition: Finding Peace and Direction After Job Loss.â** Designed for those navigating the aftermath of job loss, she will address the full spectrum of emotions, from shock and betrayal to fear and grief, while offering grounding perspectives on unexpected life changes and the search for peace, purpose, and direction.
This gathering is **non-partisan** and focused entirely on **well-being, healing, and community care.** Come as you are and leave renewed.

Heal and RELAX with doTERRA Essential Oils!
You are invited to Heal and RELAX with doTERRA Essential Oils!
You will receive one of two introductory applications:
#1 The digestive, immune, and cardiovascular systems or
#2 The musculoskeletal, immune, and respiratory systems
Essential oils support the body in its healing work.
Symphony of Cells (SOC) is a collection of 21 essential oil applications that target a different body system. Applying the oils to the back and the feet is selected because of the large number of nerve endings along the spine and on the bottom of the feet. Nourishing the nerve endings helps to feed all the organs and glands of the body.
Essential oils are natural plant oils obtained from different parts of the plant and easily recognized and used by the body to help achieve balance and assist in cleansing of foreign substances.
SOC was created by Boyd Truman, a DoTERRA Wellness advocate, to create physical, emotional and spiritual journey within the body.
Receive a SOC Essential Oil Healing Experience Session.
Please Note: The SOC Essential Oil Experience Session is by appointment only. Message by 8pm the day prior to the event to reserve a time slot.
To schedule your session please contact Joyce at (703) 395-5151.
Symphony of the CellsTM is a holistic approach to bring harmony physically, emotionally, and spiritually within the body. The applications incorporate pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and utilize a layering technique.

February Energetics Sound Bath
Have you heard of a Sound Bath? Have you been curious to learn why many say it is the most gentle yet profound healing method? Here is your opportunity to experience it for yourself!
Sound healing taps into the bodyâs natural resonance, encouraging deep relaxation and a gentle shift in nervousâsystem activity. When using sound healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, crystal pyramids, gongs, rain sticks, and thunder drums, their rich overtones create a field of vibrational energy that can synchronize brainwaves, moving them from the fast beta range toward the calming alpha and theta frequencies associated with meditative states, reduced stress, and enhanced creativity.
The pure, sustained tones of crystal bowls and pyramids are especially effective at clearing energetic blockages, allowing subtle âchiâ or lifeâforce to flow more freely, which many practitioners report as improved emotional balance and heightened sense of wellâbeing.
Percussive elements, such as Tibetan bowls and gongs, add a broader spectrum of harmonics that stimulate the bodyâs proprioceptive and auditory pathways, supporting pain relief, better sleep, and a feeling of groundedness. The use of rain sticks and thunder drums introduce rhythmic, earthâlike pulses that can anchor the listener, fostering a sense of safety and connection to nature.
Together, this blend of resonant sounds creates a holistic sonic environment that promotes mental clarity, emotional release, and physical relaxationâall key components of a restorative soundâhealing experience.
The intention of this February sound bath session is to honor the winter months that allow our bodies to ground, rest and recuperate, preparing for new birth in the spring.
