Shut Up & Write!ÂŽ [PIRAEUS / Athens]
Join us for an hour of writing! Weâve discovered that itâs strikingly helpful to write with other writers. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
SCHEDULE:
11:00 - quick intros.
11:15 - timer starts: write for 1 hour.
12:15 - (the end) chat / take off / keep writing / socialising.
Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you at To Theatron!
What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafeâs overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Ideally come with your laptop fully charged in case there are not enough plugs for everyone.
Other Important Details:
-Theatron is close to the newly-opened metro station Dimotiko Theatro. The tram also stops right outside, and there are several bus stops nearby.
-There is a parking service nearby on Kountouriotou 137 if you are unable to find a parking space.
-Please thank our hosts by purchasing something.

Monthly Meetings
The Rockville Bike Advisory Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Are you a bike enthusiast?
Are you interested in the bikeways in Rockville?
Would you like to see more trails or bike lanes?
Would you like to make a difference on how the bikeways are maintained?
Then join RBAC!
Since its creation, our volunteer committee has held regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year, carried out its mandated tasks, and has become an important and valuable resource to the City on bicycling issues. The active participation of the RBAC is vital to Rockville's continued success in implementing the Bikeway Master Plan Update and in improving conditions for bicycling in the City.
In 2019, the Rockville Mayor and City Council adopted a complete streets policy (to provide facilities that serve all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists) and in 2018 they adopted a Vision Zero resolution (to reduce traffic-related deaths to zero by 2030). RBAC members are working with the City to help with these goals and serve as liaisons to interested residents.
**RBAC's Mission** ([http://www.rockvillemd.gov/index.aspx?nid=327](http://www.rockvillemd.gov/index.aspx?nid=327)):
The committee's mandate for action includes the following tasks:
â˘Assist in the development of the City's bicycle and pedestrian specific policies, as well as other policies that affect the conditions for bicycling in the City;
â˘Oversee the implementation of the Cityâs Bikeway Master Plan Update and report progress toward completion to the Mayor and City Council;
â˘Review current and proposed CIP projects to ensure bicycle needs are incorporated into design and construction when appropriate; and
â˘Deliver updates on the needs and desires of bicyclists in the community, with recommendations for action to the Mayor and City Council.

Deal or Disaster: The 5-Minute Investment Evaluation System
This training is designed for real estate agents who want to learn how to play the Agent Investor game. The goal of this training is to help you flip your income into ownership.
âââââââââââââââââ
**Investors move fast. Most agents donât.**
If you canât evaluate a deal quickly and confidently, you lose credibilityâand the opportunity disappears.
Deal or Disaster teaches a simple, repeatable framework to determine in minutes whether a deal prints money or burns it.
In this session, youâll learn a 5-minute investment evaluation system that works across flips, rentals, BRRRRs, wholetails, and creative deals.
The goal isnât perfectionâitâs speed, clarity, and credibility.
Weâll break down:
* How to identify the investorâs true goal before running numbers
* A fast, reliable method to estimate ARV with confidence
* How to calculate the real all-in acquisition cost
* Simple heuristics to ballpark rehab and improvement costs
* The key metrics that reveal whether a deal worksâor should be killed
Youâll also learn the most common red flags that signal bad deals, thin margins, and hidden risk, so you know when to pause or walk away.
When you can analyze deals in minutes, you earn authority, build trust, and become indispensable to investors.
Speed creates opportunityâand opportunity creates repeat business.
If you want to move from real estate generalist to trusted investment strategist, this session gives you the framework to do it.
