View English version below Hola, ¿Quién se anima a correr o caminar en Barceloneta mientras el sol nace? **#¿Qué hacemos?** Quedamos delante de Buenas Migas de Barceloneta. Después de un breve calentamiento, unos salimos a correr y otros van a caminar. Todos, nos reunimos al final para charlar mientras algunos aprovechan de un buen chapuzón en el mar (opcional - traer bañador y toalla si os animáis). Con los que no tienen prisa vamos a tomar un café/desayuno después. **#¿Qué nivel necesitas?** Ninguno, no importa si lo que te gusta es caminar, si estas empezando en el mundo del running o si eres un(a) campeón(a), estas bienvenid@. En general, somos entre 10 y 25 personas. Nos reunimos al principio y al final de la actividad, pero nos dividimos en 3 o 4 grupos más pequeños en función de nuestros ritmos y de las distancias que queremos hacer. We all meet again at the end to chat while some of us enjoy a refreshing splash in the sea (optional - bring a swimsuit and towel if you’re in). For those who are not in a hurry, we then go to have a coffee / breakfast close by. **#What level of running/walking is required?** None, it does not matter if what you like is walking, if you are a beginner runner or if you are a champion, you are welcome, and you won’t get lost. In general, we are between 10 and 25 people. We meet at the beginning and at the end of the activity, but we divide ourselves into 3 or 4 smaller groups according to our pace and the distances we want to run/walk. ## Taller de Fotografía teórico práctico. Nos desplazamos hasta Esterri d’Àneu para dar un pequeño paseo por el pueblo y disfrutar de una sabrosa cena grupal mientras nos conocemos. ★ **DÍA 2 (17 enero)** – RAQUETAS 🎿 en el CIRCO de BACIVER Tras un buen descanso, nos adentramos a la **Vall d’Aran** para nuestra primera aventura con raquetas de nieve ❄️. Rodeados de cimas nevadas, caminaremos por un **idílico bosque de abetos** 🌲 hasta **un** **espectacular lago helado**, donde el silencio y la belleza del entorno te dejarán sin palabras. * 🔁 Ruta semi-circular: 6 km * ⬆️ Desnivel positivo: 290 m * ⏱️ Tiempo estimado (con paradas): 4'5 h * 💪 Dificultad física: baja * 🥾 Dificultad técnica: media. Excursión clásica para iniciarse en las raquetas de nieve. Por la tarde, en función de la hora, visitaremos el **Santuario de Montgarri**, un rincón escondido bañado por el murmullo del río Noguera Pallaresa donde el tiempo parece haberse detenido. **★ DÍA 3 (18 enero)** \- RAQUETAS 🎿 con vistas a la VALL D'ARAN Nos acercamos a un excelente mirador sobre la llamada “Suiza catalana”, uno de los valles más espectaculares del Parque Nacional de Aigüestortes. Tras nuestra primera toma de contacto de ayer con las raquetas, hoy es el día para sacar a tu niñ@ interior: deslízate, experimenta y juega con la nieve. ¡Los paisajes de cuento, la sensación de libertad y el respirar aire puro harán el resto! * 🔁 Ruta circular: 7 km * ⬆️ Desnivel positivo: 350 m * ⏱️ Tiempo estimado (con paradas): 4 h 45 min * 💪 Dificultad física: media * 🥾 Dificultad técnica: media. **INFORMACIÓN** **IMPORTANTE**: 🔔 **Nivel de las rutas**: INTERMEDIO. (Para personas habituadas a hacer desniveles de al menos 500 metros y/o excursiones de más de 4 horas por terreno irregular de media montaña). 🔔 **Progresión con raquetas**: no se requiere experiencia previa. Andar con raquetas **no es difícil**. Sin embargo, debes tener una **forma física adecuada** y estar acostumbrad@ a hacer el tipo de rutas mencionadas en el punto anterior. 🔔 **Condiciones invernales**: el estado y cantidad de nieve es algo que queda **fuera de nuestro control**. En caso de poca nieve, nos reservamos el derecho de organizar una ruta alternativa de características similares sin raquetas. ## 🐦 Birdsong Mindfulness Walks 🌿 *Slow, nature-based mindfulness in Barcelona* ### 🌿 TLDR — Please read before joining * Slow, mindful meditation walk (not fitness or hiking). * Birdsong as a mindfulness anchor (not birdwatching). * No individual Reiki during the walk for larger groups *(5-min Reiki available before/after if requested).* *** Join a slow, mostly silent walk through the **Montjuïc area**, guided by birdsong, breath, and gentle presence. This is an invitation to step out of the rush of everyday life and reconnect — with your body, your senses, and the natural world around you. Just walking, listening, and being here. *** ### ✨ What we’ll do * Begin with a short, gentle grounding practice * Walk at a **slow, mindful pace** (intentionally slower than a usual walk) * Use **birdsong and natural sounds** as anchors for awareness * Pause at times to listen, sense, or simply be still * Close with a few moments of shared stillness For larger groups, **individual Reiki is not offered during the walk**. Además **subiremos al mirador** del Turó de la Peira : su altura y situación privilegiadas lo convierten en **el único parque de Barcelona con vistas sobre Collserola y el mar**. El parque del Turó de la Peira es un lugar para pasear a través de los amplios caminos que lo recorren en un itinerario que tiene como objetivo principal llegar a la cima, situada a unos 140 metros de altitud, donde se encuentra el mirador. Join our weekly walking meetup to have fun, maintain a healthy lifestyle, meet new people, and enjoy the weather! We meet Saturdays at 10am, halfway between the Reston *Container Store* and *Not Your Average Joes* (by the metal benches), leaving no later than 10:05. Every week, rain or shine, we start by walking along the Green Trail to reach Lake Anne Community Center. Once there, we pause for water/bio (often staying a few minutes extra from April-November, due to the local Farmer's Market), and then we circle Lake Anne and head back to our starting point. It's roughly 3-4 miles and takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards, some members will often head to *Not Your Average Joes* or another local restaurant for a quick drink/meal before tackling the day. This event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Dogs are welcome, and we recommend dressing for the weather (umbrella, water, snow shoes, hat, etc.) since we'll walk rain or shine. Also, feel free to bring a friend! What’s included, excluded and the arrangement of elements within the frame is all part of composition. This class will teach you techniques to improve the composition of your photos with hands-on shooting experience coupled with feedback. Join instructor Michael Koren as you learn about composition in the Postal Museum and Union Station. The class begins with a lesson and viewing examples of compositional techniques from master photographers to help you when composing your own photographs. We'll then go to specific locations to practice those composition techniques. Afterwards, participants will have free time to photograph all the museum has to offer. Hello Hikers!! Welcome to our Saturday morning hike at 9:00 AM! Many - but not all - of our hikes originate at Great Falls Park, off Georgetown Pike. Unless you already have an appropriate pass, the park entrance fee is $20/car for a single visit or $35/car for a 12-month pass that is good for the Maryland side of the river too. Come twice and you'll save 5 bucks! For the record, all scheduled hikes will be held even when it rains, snows or is super hot or cold unless the weather is too extreme to be safe. Our standard hike is a relatively easy 1 hour plus loop hike at a moderate pace. Usually a hike-extension is offered for those wishing to add a few miles more, up to 7 miles or so total. In spite of our Meetup name, we also hike in nearby parks such as Riverbend, Scott's Run, Turkey Run, Seneca, and Billy Goat A or C on theMaryland side of the Potomac. We have also scheduled hikes in Shenandoah NP and at Sugarloaf in Maryland. Please note that phone connections can be iffy in the park so don't call you are running late, but texting may work. It's best for you to be on time as we set out pretty much on time. This 1+ hour of hiking (or more) is a great way to relax, turn off your cell phones, make new friends, and get some exercise. This bird walk takes place each month except December. With extensive frontage along the Potomac River, its rich bottomland forests, extensive wetlands and grassy areas combine to make it Loudoun’s top birding hotspot. Bring binoculars if you have them. We’ll meet at the boat ramp next to the parking lot.
