Blood on the Clocktower au Five (Trouble Brewing)

JG Meillaud, Community Leader
Hello,
I’m an independent Atlassian consultant working full-time for France Télévisions (French public broadcast organisation). I love running this little in-house Jira shop.
I’ve been managing projects and implementing collaboration tools since in 2012 and the Atlassian products and events have been instrumental in my career.
I think the job has evolved a lot in this time, from implementing pretty much anything following exotic requirements, to the art of challenging needs and crafting smart and simple solutions while continuously cleaning up our mistakes of the past! Feel free to reach out if you want to chat about that :)
Outside of work, I’m quite outdoorsy, I love hiking, sailing and rock climbing, but also quite into board games.

Workshop @AWS: Chat with Your Data
**MUG Paris Workshop** : Créer des Agents IA autonomes avec MongoDB Atlas , Amazon Bedrock & AWS
Salut à tous ! ✨
📅 **Au programme :**
* **18h15 – 18h45 :** 📝 Accueil, Check-in, warm-up snacks & Networking.
* **18h45 - 20:40 ☁️ Workshop : De la Théorie à la Pratique**
* **20h40 – fin :** 🍕 Clôture, Apéro & Networking.
*Auteur* : Mohamed GUEDDOURI ([LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mohamed-gueddouri-a0765838/))
*Durée* : 20 min
*Description* :
*Auteur* : Arnaud Barré ([Bluesky](https://bsky.app/profile/arnaud-barre.bsky.social)) - Software engineer @Carbometrix
*Durée* : 20 min
*Description* :
**Talk #3**
*Titre* : Building native Node.js Application in 2026
*Auteur* : Jean Burellier ([LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeanburellier))
*Durée* : 20 min
*Description* :
Node.js has quietly evolved into a fully-fledged native application platform. In 2026, building production-grade Node.js applications no longer means stacking layers of frameworks and dependencies. It means embracing what the runtime already provides.
This talk explores how modern Node.js enables native-first development through built-in tooling (test runner, permissions, loaders, watcher), Web-standard APIs, improved performance, and tighter alignment with system capabilities. We’ll look at how to design simpler, faster, and more secure applications by relying on core features instead of third-party abstractions, and how this shift changes the way we architect, test, and deploy Node.js systems.
The goal: fewer dependencies, clearer mental models, and Node.js applications that feel native, by design.

Build-a-blockbuster - An improv show in English
It's cinema... without a script.
Each night, the audience's ideas inspire four brand-new "films," performed live on stage. From epic fantasy to wacky westerns and painfully awkward rom-coms... you suggest it, the actors bring it to life!
After every round, the audience votes one story off the reel until only one survives... the blockbuster of the night!
Fast, funny, and unpredictable, this improv show turns movie magic into comedy mayhem.
The chaos is brought to you by Foreign Exchanged, a motley crew of international improvisers from all over the world — India, the US, Russia, Colombia, Lebanon, Moldova, France and beyond — making their way through Paris, one English faux pas at a time.
Come for the accents, stay for the laughter.

One key difference maker (deliver on-time, on budget. or We close complicated cases. or We can sell your home quickly and for top dollar. Etc...)
Who you would like to meet in the room or in the area (so we can refer you business :-) )
Keep it short and sweet, there will be plenty of time after and before the meeting to get to know other people in the group and even opportunities to schedule "one to one/1:2:1" meetings. We love to grab our coffee and go out to a spot in the lobby afterwards in one on ones to discuss how we can work together, get to know each other, get business done! So plan a little extra time to meet if need be.

[Verse 1]
Love spreads her arms, waits there for the nails
I forgive you, boy, I will prevail
Too much to take, some cross to bear
I'm hiding in the trees with a picnic, she's over there, yeah
[Interlude]
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
[Verse 2]
She didn't scream, she didn't make a sound
I forgive you, boy, but don't leave town
Cold black skin, naked in the rain
Hammer flash in the lightning, they're hurting her again
[Chorus]
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
Let me put you in the picture
Let me show you what I mean
The messiah is my sister
Ain't no king, man, she's my queen
[Post-Chorus]
I have a dream, I've seen the light
Don't put it out, and she's alright, yeah, she's my sister
[Guitar Solo]
[Verse 3]
She didn't scream, she didn't make a sound
I forgive you, boy, but don't leave town
Cold black skin, naked in the rain
Hammer flash in the lightning, they're hurting her again

Oh, oh, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah

ODH Training Hike # 7-Lower Mt. Vernon Trail
Join us for a 13.5 mile out-and-back hike on the paved Mount Vernon Trail with a loop around Fort Hunt Park. The trail takes you along a tranquil and scenic section of the Potomac River between Mount Vernon and Dyke Marsh. Eagles and osprey have been spotted in previous years.
