Este taller propone una aproximación práctica y experimental al diseño y la construcción de mobiliario a partir de sistemas de ensamblaje reversibles. Partiendo del proyecto ***Under Pressure***, exploraremos nuevas formas de construir desde lo disponible, poniendo el foco en las uniones más que en los materiales. ***Under Pressure*** surge como un sistema de ensamblaje que emplea exclusivamente materiales reciclados, unidos mediante conexiones mecánicas basadas en presión. Sin perforaciones, adhesivos ni procesos irreversibles, las piezas se sostienen a través de cables tensados. Este enfoque permite adaptarse a diferentes geometrías y responde a principios de *Design for Disassembly*: accesibilidad, desmontaje sencillo y recuperación total de los componentes. Durante el taller, trasladaremos estos principios a un contexto colectivo. Utilizaremos materiales de desecho procedentes de La Clandestina y su entorno para diseñar y construir piezas mediante sistemas de cables tensores. Cada grupo desarrollará una pieza funcional que podrá integrarse en el espacio de La Clandestina o, si se prefiere, ser llevada por sus autores. Su práctica se sitúa entre el diseño de producto, los interiores y los sistemas espaciales de pequeña escala, con un interés constante en los recursos preexistentes y en la temporalidad de los materiales. A través de su trabajo investiga cómo los objetos pueden adaptarse, transformarse y mantenerse en el tiempo, evitando soluciones cerradas o irreversibles. Sus proyectos desplazan la ambición técnica desde los componentes hacia los sistemas de unión, defendiendo que las conexiones ajustables y reversibles pueden concentrar valor, adaptabilidad y capacidad de reparación. Orts entiende las uniones no como elementos secundarios, sino como piezas clave para alargar la vida útil de los objetos y facilitar su reconfiguración. Este enfoque se materializa en propuestas que reutilizan materiales industriales existentes, donde los sistemas de fijación permiten nuevos usos sin borrar las huellas de su vida anterior. Su investigación se centra especialmente en cómo acoplamientos, abrazaderas, collarines y soluciones improvisadas pueden resolver materiales de procedencia diversa. Frente a la complejidad tecnológica, apuesta por una inteligencia reparable, basada en lógicas de producción locales y accesibles. La propuesta de esta actividad es ir a visitar el estudio de la artista barcelonesa Marta Aoiz. Formada en la escuela de la Llotja, su trabajo se centra en la pintura, practicando todos sus géneros desde sus inicios como acuarelista, y extendiéndose posteriormente a la técnica del óleo. La pintura de Marta Aoiz parte de un marcado componente emocional que se transmite sobre todo a través de sus paisajes. Es en ellos, también, en los que la artista se siente más identificada, y desde los que trata de hacernos participar de su proceso creativo en tanto que “paisajes soñados” en su mente y en su estudio. What does it look like when ideas come to life, in real time, on the wall? Join NOVA Scribes for a full-day, in-person open house where the public is invited to step inside the world of graphic recording and visual facilitation. This is a come-and-go experience designed for curiosity, exploration, and conversation. Whether you are new to visual thinking or already working with images and groups, you are welcome. The space will be set up as a "theater in the round," (see the image) with visual practitioners working live around the room. Throughout the day, you will see different techniques, styles, and modalities demonstrated in real time, from large-scale graphic recording to visual templates, facilitation tools, and decision-support visuals. You can observe, ask questions, and engage directly with the practitioners as the work unfolds. **What you can expect** * Live demonstrations of graphic recording and visual facilitation techniques * Multiple practitioners working simultaneously, each with their own approach and style * Short, informal demos and tiny teaches that explain how and why specific techniques are used * Opportunities to talk one-on-one with experienced graphic recorders and visual facilitators * A chance to see how visuals support sensemaking, alignment, and group dialogue **What you might explore** * Graphic recording for meetings, conferences, and retreats * Visual templates for planning, strategy, and reflection * Visual facilitation methods that support participation and decision making * Tools, materials, and setup considerations for live visual work * Different visual languages, from icons and lettering to layout and structure This open house is designed to be accessible, hands-on, and inspiring. You do not need to stay all day. Come for 20 minutes or stay for hours. Watch ideas take shape. Notice how visuals change the energy in the room. Ask the questions you have always wanted to ask. If you have ever been curious about how visual facilitation works, or how graphic recording supports groups, this is your chance to experience it up close. **Open to the general public. No prior experience required.** We’re not charging for this workshop, but we will be asking for donations!
