February Energetics Sound Bath
Have you heard of a Sound Bath? Have you been curious to learn why many say it is the most gentle yet profound healing method? Here is your opportunity to experience it for yourself!
Sound healing taps into the body’s natural resonance, encouraging deep relaxation and a gentle shift in nervous‑system activity. When using sound healing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, crystal pyramids, gongs, rain sticks, and thunder drums, their rich overtones create a field of vibrational energy that can synchronize brainwaves, moving them from the fast beta range toward the calming alpha and theta frequencies associated with meditative states, reduced stress, and enhanced creativity.
The pure, sustained tones of crystal bowls and pyramids are especially effective at clearing energetic blockages, allowing subtle “chi” or life‑force to flow more freely, which many practitioners report as improved emotional balance and heightened sense of well‑being.
Percussive elements, such as Tibetan bowls and gongs, add a broader spectrum of harmonics that stimulate the body’s proprioceptive and auditory pathways, supporting pain relief, better sleep, and a feeling of groundedness. The use of rain sticks and thunder drums introduce rhythmic, earth‑like pulses that can anchor the listener, fostering a sense of safety and connection to nature.
Together, this blend of resonant sounds creates a holistic sonic environment that promotes mental clarity, emotional release, and physical relaxation—all key components of a restorative sound‑healing experience.
The intention of this February sound bath session is to honor the winter months that allow our bodies to ground, rest and recuperate, preparing for new birth in the spring.

Native Plant Book Club: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle
Join our partners Watermark Woods Native Plants, Loudoun County Public Library (LCPL), and Birch Tree Bookstore for the Read! Plant! Grow! Book Club, which focuses on native plants, sponsored by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and LCPL. At this meeting we’ll discuss the book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. Both memoir and journalistic investigation, this book explores how the Kingsolver family took on a new challenge: to spend a year on a locally -produced diet, paying close attention to the provenance of all they consume. Concerned about the environmental, social, and physical costs of American food culture, they hoped to recover what Kingsolver considers our nation’’s lost appreciation for farms and the natural processes of food production.
You can either buy the book from Birch Tree Bookstore or contact Allison Forbes at [Allison.forbes@loudoun.gov](mailto:Allison.forbes@loudoun.gov) to borrow a copy of the book at the library. There are two ways to participate: attend the event online via the library website or [sign up to participate in person at Birch Tree Bookstore](https://www.birchtreebookstore.com/event-details/read-plant-grow-2026-02-24-18-30).

Systemic Constellation Workshop with Randy Goldberg
**A systemic constellation (also called Family Constellations) is a therapeutic group experience designed to uncover and resolve hidden family dynamics that may be influencing a person’s life.**
Rooted in the work of Bert Hellinger, this method operates on the principle that unresolved traumas and patterns from previous generations can manifest in an individual’s relationships, health, or emotions.
During the workshop, a facilitator guides participants as they explore these systemic entanglements using representatives—other group members who stand in for family members or key components of their issue. Through this process, participants gain deep insights into their energy field systems, fostering healing and a sense of resolution.
These workshops provide a safe and supportive environment for self-discovery and transformation. Participants often experience profound emotional shifts as they witness and engage in the unfolding dynamics of their lives stories. By bringing unconscious loyalties, unresolved grief, or burdens to light, Family Constellation work helps individuals break free from limiting patterns, fostering greater harmony, self-acceptance, and a renewed sense of belonging. Whether attending as an active participant or as a representative, individuals often leave with a deeper understanding of their own lives and relationships.
