Pay the **5 € board gaming fee** to the bar at the counter when you arrive. You must be at least 18 years old to enter [Arkade](https://www.arkade.fi/). We play in English and the game rules are taught before starting play, unless everyone is already familiar with the game. No previous experience with board gaming required. The venue has a great board game library, the host and other players usually bring their own games too: our selection varies weekly. We're a very casual group so you're welcome to arrive early or late and join whatever game is starting up, there is no attendance tracking, or welcoming process. The bar has alcoholic drinks, mocktails, and soft drinks available as well as some snack foods. They've been okay with people ordering food to the bar with meal delivery services. If you are feeling sick, please stay home.

**Welcome to Sketchy Collective!** A relaxed and social drawing group for anyone who enjoys sketching — or just wants to give it a try. \*\*\* We meet **every Sunday at 15:00** in **Oodi Library**. \*\*\* **HOW TO FIND US** We meet on the **top floor of Oodi Library**, on the stairs **opposite** the children’s area. It's a good idea to **keep your sketchbook visible** so others can easily recognize that you're there for the sketching meetup. And if you’re a regular participant, making it clear that you're part of the sketching group can be very helpful for newcomers! The main organizer is currently not in Helsinki. The meetings have been continuing without organizer's attendance, but please be considerate and make it easy for new participants to join — for example, once the group gathers, **please stay at the designated spot in the library described above.** \*\*\* **HOW IT WORKS** At each meetup, attendees take turns being the model for a quick **10-minute sketch session**. One person poses, everyone else sketches, then we rotate. \*\*\* **WHAT TO BRING** Pencils and paper (or any sketching tools you like). No fees, no pressure. The only thing we ask is that everyone takes a turn posing for the group. You can sit however you feel comfortable — the 10 minutes go by quickly! We haven’t seen them before, but they sound fantastic in their videos! Pronounced "Tune-a-matics”, this unique group is a combination of two lead vocalist bandleaders, each from their own well established local band. Their friendship brought them together to enjoy the opportunity to "downsize" and play the songs they love. It adds up to a diversified song list spanning the decades from the 60s through today, and performances that have drawn accolades for their engaging delivery of good songs for good times! Tunematics includes guitarist Scott Butler from Vienna's Party Band, "Fat Chance" and Tim Wynne, veteran bassist from DC's legendary band "Sinbad" and "The Odyssey Band of DC".

Our leaders will teach you parts to sing for spontaneously-composed choral pieces. We play a variety of listening/music/singing games, and create safe opportunities for participants to improvise as little or as much as they might like. Let's meet up and have an acoustic gypsy jazz jam! There is a nice quiet studio space on the third floor of Photoworks and the owner of Photoworks (Neil) will let us use the space. He has folding chairs there. There is a a parking garage that is free on weekends almost right next to the store, so parking is way easy. I am hoping that an early evening on a Sunday will work well for a number of folks. I am open to doing a Wednesday evening or other times that might work well for folks in upcoming events. We can also explore other venues and locations. A local bar also said I could use their restaurant on a Sunday afternoon or evening or a mid week evening for a possible future jam session.
