Tuesday Treat for your Soul!
Tuesday Treat for your Soul!
Does your soul need a little boost on Tuesday? it's important to continue our healing/self growth journeys and build support for one another through our community. I know first hand how important it is to have people you can share and talk to along this journey. Many people don't understand it and think you are crazy. We know better, and we know we are making huge improvements in our lives. However, if you don't have support and feel alone, you could just give up. That would be a shame, so with this in mind, we will meet and explore many different parts of spirituality. This will be a free form experience, and will change according to the energy and preference of the group. Some nights we might do a meditation, some I might do some Access Healing work. Other ideas might include: Chanting, card readings, manifesting, visualizations, book discussions, crystals, affirmations, chakras, writing, past lives, Angels, coloring, clearings, astrology, mudras, nutrition and general discussions to raise your consciousness - the list is endless! We will also have guest hosts from time to time to learn about other topics under this huge umbrella! Join us to get your weekly dose of good energy, and we will all rise together! When we do, it has a ripple effect throughout our community and our whole planet! Yes, you do matter and what you do and think makes a big difference in the world! I can't wait to grow with you! We are flexible, we will start about 6:30, but if you can't get there then, join us whenever you can. This is a love based FREE event to support and help you soar, but DONATIONS are appreciated!

Finding Meaning in Life's Difficulties (Free Event)
Finding Meaning in Life's Difficulties (Free Event)
Is there hidden value in the difficulties and hardships of life, or are these things just to try to get past as quickly as possible? If so, how can we emerge from the current world crisis we are facing as stronger, more resilient individuals and communities? When we look at the difficult moments of our lives, aren’t those often the times when we grew the most? So many valuable lessons in life and growth opportunities are hard-won, often coming out of these trying moments. So why are we so focused on avoiding these difficulties? From this perspective, how would we as individuals and as a society confront the inevitable struggles we will be faced with? How can we build stronger communities that ensure not only that we don’t have to face struggles alone, but that we as individuals will emerge stronger as well? Come join a different kind of conversation – one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us all – as we discuss the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá’í Teachings on the opportunity for growth during times of struggle. Join us for a lively discussion as we reflect on the meaning of the struggles of life and explore the true nature of progress. *“The troubles of this world pass and what we have left is what we have made of our souls.*” – Bahá’í Teachings \*\*\* This event is free and open to all regardless of background or belief. Donations will not be accepted.

Through a journey of release, healing, and self-discovery, you will arrive at a place of deep peace, supported by a restorative sound bath. Experience Fee: $35 Tickets: www.danceoflighthealing.com/events-guided-meditations I am Cindy Waldman Maher, a certified Usui Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master, Teacher, and Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in stress management across the U.S. and South America. I was always drawn to natural healing and in the early 1990s, I began exploring alternative techniques for relaxation and consciousness expansion using sound and light stimulation. My journey with Reiki began after witnessing its profound healing effects when my daughter recovered from a severe asthma attack with the help of Reiki. For the last 20 years, I have helped individuals with physical, mental, and emotional challenges through Reiki sessions, both in-person and remote. I have trained many new Reiki healers; those who aspire to help themselves and their loved ones, healers who want to become certified and open their own practice, and many people who are drawn to Reiki for spiritual enlightenment. Regardless of why someone seeks Reiki, I have found that they always benefit from the experience—and that brings me great joy.

There is always something interesting going on, so keep stopping by or checking our website. **What is Sahaja Yoga?** Sahaja Yoga is a meditation breakthrough founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970 and is based on ancient principles for the modern world. It begins with the awareness of one’s individual energy called, ‘kundalini.’ Once the kundalini is awakened within, the process of meditation becomes effortless and spontaneous, and this leads to complete peace and balance in life. With balance comes lasting joy and well-being of mind, body, emotions and spirit. **Where can I attend a Sahaja Yoga event or class?** You can check this website for upcoming events. Faith & Fork (Adult Small Group)
Faith & Fork (Adult Small Group)
Good food has a way of bringing people together. Faith & Fork is a small group built around the simple idea that meaningful connection often happens around a table. Each gathering includes a shared meal, conversation, a brief devotional, laughter-filled games, and prayer. Together we'll explore one guiding question: "If Jesus were at the table..." What would he say? What would he notice? How would he respond to the stories, struggles, celebrations, and questions we bring? And how might we be invited to respond as people seeking to follow him? Whether you're new to church, have been part of a faith community for years, or simply long for authentic connection, there's a seat for you. Come enjoy a meal, meet new friends, share meaningful conversation, and discover how faith can shape everyday life around the table. Expect good food, thoughtful discussion, plenty of laughter, and a welcoming community where you can know and be known. A seat is waiting for you at Faith & Fork. 🍴❤️ When: 4th Fridays \| 6:30–8:00 PM What to Expect: Shared meal • Fellowship • Devotional conversation • Games • Prayer • Community Questions? Crafting for a Cause (Adult Small Group)
Crafting for a Cause (Adult Small Group)
Some projects are made with yarn. Some are made with prayer. This one is made with both. Join us for Crafting for a Cause as we create Prayer Shawls to offer comfort, encouragement, and care to people in our community. June 28 from 12:15–1:30 PM This isn’t about perfection or experience—it’s about showing up and creating something meaningful together. If you enjoy knitting or crocheting, we’d love to have your hands and talents join us. This is not a class, but patterns, information, and limited materials can be provided if needed. Never made a shawl before? You’re still invited. We’ll also have simple no-sew fleece projects available. And if crafting isn’t your thing—but prayer is—please come anyway. We’ll be praying over the projects, over the people creating them, and over every person who will one day receive one. Bring your supplies if you have them. Bring a friend if you’d like. Bring your prayers either way. If you can pray, you’re welcome. Questions? Contact jennifer@thevineva.org

Qi Gong & Sound Healing with Dante
Qi Gong & Sound Healing with Dante
Qi Gong (also spelled Chi Kung or Qigong) is a traditional Chinese practice that involves physical movements, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi" or "Chi." Qi Gong is part of traditional Chinese medicine and is considered a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is based on the belief that the body's vital energy flows through channels, or meridians, and that practicing Qi Gong can improve the flow of Qi, thereby promoting health and healing. The practice typically involves slow, gentle movements synchronized with deep breathing and a meditative focus. Dante will guide participants into a comfortable, receptive state, using sound-healing instruments to support deep relaxation. Once the sound bath begins, allow the vibrations to soothe your mind, clear any blockages in your body, and guide you into the present moment. Discover the powerful, healing effects of singing bowls and experience sounds that reharmonize the entire body.
