DC Metro Area: A Home for New Musicals at MLK Library There will be a panel conversation led by *Washington Post* theater critic Naveen Kumar highlighting local theater companies producing new musicals. Produced in a partnership with Mosaic Theater, Olney Theatre Center and Signature Theatre, the panel will include the writers Ari Afsar, Nick Blaemire, Joriah Kwamé, Kokayi and Psalmayene 24, alongside performances from Mosaic’s *Young John Lewis: Prodigy of Protest*, Olney’s *Little Miss Perfect*, and *I & You: The Musical* and Signature’s *Safety Not Guaranteed* - all premiering in the DMV this spring.
