Workshop: Bindungstypen / Beziehungstypen, Deine Freundschaften & Beziehungen
Weil:
* Ich bin nicht allein.
* Ich lernen die GefĂźhle anderer kennen
* Ich entwickle ein gutes GefĂźhl fĂźr die anderen Beziehungsstile (nicht nur meinen)
* Ich lĂśse das Thema fĂźr mich Schritt fĂźr Schritt - und werde immer sicher in meinen Bindungen & Beziehungen.
18:15 Uhr - Doors Open & Ankommen
18:30 Uhr - Start des Workshops
* EinfĂźhrung, Vorstellung
* Kleines Kennenlernen
* EinfĂźhrung in das Thema durch mich
* Verständnisfragen
* Verschiedene Austauschrunden mit Vertiefungsfragen (der grĂśĂte zeitliche Anteil)
* Offene Fragen
21:30 Uhr - Ende
.
Zwischendurch machen wir eine kleine Pause.
.
Tausche Dich mit Gleichgesinnten Ăźber ein wesentliches Thema Deines Lebens aus. Du kannst immer wählen, mit wem Du Dich in welcher Tiefe unterhalten mĂśchtest. Dein GegenĂźber natĂźrlich auch :). Nein heiĂt nein, Ja heiĂt Ja đ¤
.

[face to face] Interview Simulation
Join this **Interview Simulation** session â to sharpen the skills for both interviews **and** architectural pitches.
đĄ How it works
The event is split into three parts:
1. **Most common behavioral & HR questions** \- you will receive a printed list of behavioral/HR questions and we brainstorm tips on how to prepare for them
2. **Interview Simulation (10 minute rounds)** â One participant acts as the interviewee and answers a round of behavioral and design-focused questions. Each other participant gets to ask him one interview question.
3. **Feedback Round** â The group provides feedback on communication, structure, and clarity. Constructive criticism is encouraged.
đĄYou will be asked:
* **Behavioral questions** (âTell me about yourselfâ, âDescribe a challenge you faced...â)
* **Technical questions** (based on your tech stack)
* **Light design problems** (high-level reasoning, not code)
No need to prepare anything in advance â just bring curiosity and an open mind.
Feel free to bring your CV if youâd like feedback from others, or share a few words if youâre currently job hunting. If so, we will also brainstorm answers to more common questions that you were asked.
Whether youâre preparing for an interview or simply want to grow as a software designer or architect, this session is for you.

*Slint a Modern UI Framework with First-Class C++ Support* by **Olivier Goffart**, **Co-founder at SixtyFPS**.
Slint is a modern UI framework for building native applications, with a focus on performance and developer experience.
This talk introduces Slint and shows how it can be used through a clean and idiomatic C++ API. We'll also look behind the scenes at how Slint C++ wrapper is made around the Rust implementation, how C++ and Rust interoperate, and how CMake integration is handled so that using Slint from C++ feels natural.

This Is Not Precious: How I use Design Thinking to Create Bestselling Games
**\*This is an in-person event\***
Most people hold their ideas too tightly. They refine too early, hesitate to share half-formed concepts, and wait for âperfectâ before putting anything in front of a user. Frankie Abralind works the opposite way and that mindset is a big part of why his projects succeed.
In this session, Frankie walks you through his real creative process: messy drafts, discarded versions, surprising user reactions, and the moments when he threw out something he loved because the evidence pushed him in a new direction. Youâll see firsthand how treating ideas as *disposable, not precious* accelerates learning and leads to better outcomes.
Youâll also get to examine real artifacts from the development of his games **BrainSpin**, **DIEKY**, and **eckso**. Explore prototypes, dive into design dilemmas, and hear candid stories of iteration, failure, and breakthrough that have earned former DT:DC director Frankie Abralind a reputation as an âentrepreneur who ships.â
**What you'll learn**
⢠What you need to test an idea quickly
⢠Where to find real users (beyond friends and family)
⢠How to ask non-leading, non-biasing questions
⢠User-testing methods that uncover meaningful insights
⢠Best practices for rapid iteration
⢠How to log feedback, share modifications, and track updates
⢠How to receive feedback with openness and use it productively
⢠How to build, and reward, a network of testers and supporters
**Agenda**
**6:00pm** â Snacks & connection
**6:30pm** â Case Study 1: *BrainSpin* â finding user testers
**6:50pm** â Case Study 2: *DIEKY* â play tester appreciation
**7:10pm** â Case Study 3: *eckso* â rapid prototyping
**7:30pm** â *Zenmo* â live user testing
**8:00pm** â Debrief & questions
**8:30pm** â Adjourn

Reston Happy Hour: Scaling Cloud Infrastructure for Heavy Workloads
Gaming, AdTech, EdTech, Media Streaming, and FinTech are just a few of the workloads where high-availability cloud infrastructure matters. Whether youâre doing battle daily in one of these spaces or are just curious about ways to improve performance, meet us in Reston for an in-person discussion on bare metal cloud architecture. Youâll meet our product lead, James MacKenzie, who will walk through how modern bare metal serves as a control plane for hybrid and private cloud architectures.
**What we will cover**
* Ways to leverage bare metal, containers, and orchestration for better performance and predictable economics;
* Real-world hybrid, disaster recovery, and data-intensive architectures;
* Our approach to eliminating ingress and egress fees.
**Who should attend**
* Cloud architects and platform engineers;
* DevOps professionals and infrastructure leads;
* FinOps stakeholders managing data-heavy or hybrid workloads.
**Why attend**
This is a technical, architecture-first conversation. You will leave with a clearer understanding of high-availability cloud infrastructure and how organizations are scaling cost-effectively.
Food and drinks will be provided. Space is limited to keep the discussion interactive.
