Time: Arrive by ~5:30pm. Ride at 5:40pm
Type of ride: All skills, no drop combined day and night ride. We can split into groups per experience level as necessary.
Speed: Pace is usually in the 7-9.5 mph average speed range depending on the group. I'm flexible. Slow, fast, I don't really care. I just want to get out and ride a bit.
Ride Details: One lap is around 4.25 miles. The plan is to do 2-3 laps. If you're interested in joining us for more than the first lap you'll need lights. There are bail out options and we'll return to the parking lot after each lap. Each lap we'll take a different route than the previous one to mix things up.
Trail Details/Difficulty: RTP Trails are listed on TMTB as intermediate, but perhaps comparable to Crabtree but a little tighter with fewer roots and a little more up and down. This is a fun flowy up and down trail that loops back on itself often so the ride options are endless. There are a few fun technical spots and a very nice bridge.
Post Ride Plans: Rally Point or some local spot if people are interested.
TORC Membership: If you love mountain biking and care about the environment, you belong with IMBA. That's because supporting IMBA is the most effective way for you to build, maintain and open the trails you love to ride.
Join those who are passionate enough to support the trails they ride on. Join locally at IMBA-TORC Chapter.
