PLEASE PROVIDE ONLINE COMMENTS TODAY, 12/Oct/18 AND FORWARD THIS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!

We learned recently that Wake Stone Quarry has actually put out a formal proposal to quarry the tract of land known as Rocky Road and The Oddfellows Tract. This is the land directly adjacent to Crabtree Creek and Umstead State Park where boy scouts camp and residents hike and bike.

Wake Stone is reportedly lobbying our elected officials very, very hard as our elected officials have to approve the quarry proposal. Some of our elected officials are actually considering this quarry proposal! We need to speak up….and speak up today, 12/Oct/18, to stop the destruction of this land gem that we the people own.

The RDU Airport is owned by Wake County, Durham County, Raleigh City, and Durham City. We the people own the airport; the airport is NOT a private entity; we the people have a say in this if and only if we speak up!

Please submit comments TODAY. Got to the link below for contact information for Wake/Durham County commissioners and Raleigh/Durham City officials.
