Ladies, let's work on our skills in the grass field at CNF and then take what we practiced to the trails! We'll meet in the paved parking lot and ride the Dusty Road Bypass on the way to the field as a warm up.
Please post in comments any particular skills or trail features you'd like to work on during this practice/ride.
Meet time: 5:45 pm
Skills Practice starts at 6:00 pm
Ride starts around 7:00 pm
Ride distance: 4-8 miles
Location: Carolina North Forest
What to bring:
Your bike in good working order
Hydration (pack or water bottle)
Snacks if you get hungry on the trail
Good idea to bring first aid kit, tools, spare tube, gloves
We socialize post-ride in the parking lot. You may like to have a frosty beverage and a chair. Some of us may go to Margaret’s Cantina for dinner around 8:45 or 9:00pm.
Begintermediates: you've been riding about a year, can ride 5-10 miles of single track with a few breaks, and are comfortable riding off road surfaces with roots and rocks. We will stop and session trail features along the way.
If you have ridden Crabtree and Brumley and are ready to try some more challenging terrain, this ride is perfect for you!
NOTE: When CNF trails are closed, ride is cancelled.
