The Toronto Moto & Scooter Club Pages

Welcome to The Toronto Moto Scooter Club (TMSC), this is Toronto's Premier Scooter Club bringing scooterists together from all walks of life. Our club consists of people of all ages, without prejudice to, political views, race, gender, or sexual orientation. We are just a club of crazy scooter loving Motos.
Celebrate the coolest form of urban transportation. It doesn't matter what moto scooter you ride whether it's Plastic Fantastic or Italian Stallion, Vintage or Modern, join us and have a great time.

This club was started on April the 28th 2006 by Dom & Lisa and it has grown phenomenally ever since. From the first few rides around Toronto, to a club that runs rides on a weekly basis during the summer, we have become the largest, most active and fun scooter club in Toronto. From the 2007 season and until the late 2009 season, Benny was the President with Magiq taking over where Benny left off.

Much of what makes it so much fun to be part of this club are the great friends you will make both online and during our rides and socials. As you will see by looking at the Calendar (to the left of this page) we have many events each month. There are social events where you can talk and have a great time and there are rides where you can socialize and ride your scooter with the TMSC. Every meetup is a time to enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow Motos. Be sure to join in on as many as you can.

Club Organizers

This club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
Their mission is to make TMSC the club of choice for scooterists in and around the GTA.

Club Executive

This group makes decisions about club rules, large events, site moderation and selection of Assistant Organizers.
The executive changes over time. The current members decide on who should become an executive or AO by looking at members’ enthusiasm and interest in helping the club improve.

Assistant Organizers (AO's)

This group is responsible for site moderation, rides and social events organization.

We have a Treasurer, who has experience with bookkeeping.

  • All monies from Full Members are kept in a bank account that has three signees.
  • Two signatures are required for any cheque to be issued.
Any monies we have in the bank is only to be used to pay for swag etc. up front (early on we paid out of pocket and hoped to get paid back) and members only events for food and other expenses.

Twisted Wheel Scooter Rally

The TMSC is the host of the Twisted Wheel Scooter Rally. 2007 marked the first ever and it was an unmitigated success. 2008 was even bigger and better and we hope the tradition continues.
We have videos of the rallies along with newspaper articles that you can see and read here.. Have a look and enjoy the TMSC's biggest annual event!

OK enough about the TMSC; let's hear from you the members of the TMSC. This club wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the active and fun members and organizers who participate in every event and discussion. Get in there and join in, get chatting online and RSVP for the events. Let's hear your ideas, opinions and questions. Get on your scooter and ride with the TMSC!
