• Scooter Chat on Zoom!

    Online event

Given that it's not realistic to do group rides or get-togethers during this pandemic, I thought some us might like to just get together online for a chat about all things scooters! I have put together a page of instructions for that, brazenly stolen from another group I'm in, at: https://www.meetup.com/toronto-moto-scooter-club/pages/30331339/Online_Meeting_Instructions/ Please read them carefully if you are not already quite familiar with Zoom! IMPORTANT: The only way to see the Zoom link for this event is to RSVP to this event, then it shows up on the page. Hope to see some of you soon this way! If it's successful we will repeat it.

  • DQ Tuesday on Monday

  • Art Ride and Lunch: Uxbridge Studio Tour

    Tim Horton's

The Uxbridge Studio Tour seems like a great excuse for a country ride. Trees, art, food, friends, and of course riding! We will meet up at the Tim Horton's at Don Mills and Steeles, and ride on secondary roads. *Be ready to ride by 10:00 (full tank, empty bladder, sufficiently caffeinated) as we will be leaving promptly. * Note: on the pre-ride, many roads were posted 70 and 80 km, so this is not appropriate for 50cc. Here's more information about the studios: https://www.uxbridgestudiotour.com/site/home We will stop first for an early lunch at the Tin Mill Restaurant in Uxbridge. This part of the ride will take about 1:15. You may want to refuel while in Uxbridge. After lunch, we will head to the blacksmith studio of Mark Puigmarti, where we can see a working blacksmith forge, as well as the work of three other artists. That's a short 10 minute ride. From there, we will head back to the city via Musselman Lake. If it's a nice day, we can stop for an ice-cream before hitting the road home. Our route will wind up close to the starting point at about 2:30 pm. This will be a chance to get some nice country riding in before the weather gets cool. I hope you'll join us! By RSVP'ing yes to this ride you have acknowledged that you have read, understood and agreed with our Group Riding Guidelines (http://www.meetup.com/toronto-moto-scooter-club/pages/TMSC_Group_Rides/). You will also be required to sign a waiver (http://files.meetup.com/237291/TMSC%20Waiver%20April%202013.pdf) prior to the ride.
