JavaScript Tech Talk Night

Hi All!

We're excited to announce Toronto JavaScript's first Tech Talk Night.

We have the pleasure of having your organizer, Tasveer Singh, and Dylan Schiemann speaking at this event.

Tasveer will be speaking on Techniques for Testing Client Side JavaScript on the Server. He will be using the Mocha and expect JavaScript testing libraries to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of a few different approaches.

Dylan is the CEO of SitePen, and co-founder of the Dojo Toolkit, President of the Dojo Foundation, Comet Daily, and the London Ajax User Group. He will be in town giving a Workshop on Dojo Skills and has kindly agreed to give us an introductory talk on the Dojo Toolkit.

Dylan and Tasveer will also be heading to the Foggy Dew Irish Pub for some beers after the event. Please RSVP here if you wish to attend.

We are planning on having regular Tech Talk events moving forward and are always looking for speakers. Please get in touch with Tasveer if you are interested in speaking at an event with a short summary of your talk.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

A full RSVP list never stopped me from crashing an event. :) That said, you can of course meet us at the pub if you want.

I've come down with a cold so I'm going to change my RSVP to a No, and I believe the first person on the waiting list will get in.
