Play Daggerheart: Fantasy RPG Adventure Night (New & Veteran Players)

Newbies welcome! No experience with Dungeons & Dragons or other RPGs required. Just bring yourself! Pencils, printouts, and dice will be provided.

Daggerheart is a new "classic" version of Dungeons & Dragons for modern audiences. The team behind it, Critical Role, has streamlined it for beginner friendliness and to focus on epic storytelling centred on character exploration and development. Daggerheart is very much built around what most folks find fun about DND: ups and downs, surprises and discoveries. The book comes with many settings or "frames," from Delicious in Dungeon to Game of Thrones, Final Fantasy to Dark Souls, Princess Mononoke to Fallout.

We'll start each one-shot with a some degree of collaborative world/relationship-building and character introductions. Pregenerated characters will be available as well as blank sheets for returning players. We'll then play through a 2-hour adventure before handing out awards and XP, so that your character will be higher level the next time you join. Conduct Policy
By signing up, you are acknowledging that you align with Toronto Prosocial RPG's focus on gaming as a way of exploring social and emotional wellness, and that the game may be paused at any time (via an X-Card policy) to recenter on that focus. In addition to the X-Card, the last half hour of each session may be dedicated to debriefing.
Refund Policy
24+ hours notice: Receive a full refund (minus processing fees).
12 to 24 hours notice: Receive a 50% refund (minus processing fees).
Less than 12 hours: Receive a 50% refund (minus processing fees) if the event fills up.
