Looking for Ruby Developer - Toronto

Post #: 1
Ruby on Rails Developer

We’re a passionate group of entrepreneurs building a collaborative business application that’s pushing the limits of collaboration. Our team is fast, independent and smart and we’re looking for more people to join us. Our company has the best and brightest, we have a lot of fun, and we want to keep it that way so we’re very particular about the people we hire. The interview process will be tough and you’re going to have to write some code and review it with us. Here’s what we’re looking for:

At least a year or two of RoR experience
Serious understanding of Ruby language (that means metaprogramming, duck typing, monkey patching etc)
You’ve designed and deployed a RoR application with a real user base
Can deploy RoR apps (that means you have insight on Mongrel clusters, Passenger, lighthttpd, Rack)
No problems writing maintainable and bug free Javascript to help build out your RoR applications
Understand the data structures and algorithms that great software engineers use
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience (2+ Years).
Agile. Intelligent. Creative. You love startups. You like making things happen.

Our culture is fast paced and fun, we don’t care about hours or attire or anything like that. Everyone has a share of the company, we work hard and that’s all we care about.

We want our people to be happy. Solid compensation, stock options, health benefits, time off, top notch equipment, training expenses.

If interested or know someone let me know.
