In collaboration with Eliot Hennion, International Mountain Guide, this will be a 3-day introduction to mountaineering in the canton of Valais. We will be hiking up to Täschhütte SAC and stay two nights there. The hut lies at a height of 2701 metres above sea level, in the Mischabel massif.

If you are a fit hiker and would like to try mountaineering and go up to 4000m+, this is for you!

What’s the plan?

Day 1

We will meet in Täsch at 11:00 and hike up to Täschhütte SAC. Night at the hut.
Ascent: 1380m
Descent: 110m

Day 2

Exercices with rope and crampons on the glacier to practice for the ascension. Return to the hut for the night.

Day 3

Ascension of Alphubel (4206m) and hike down to Täsch.
Ascent: 1500m
Descent: 2900m
