Step outside and sign up for our Outdoor Rock Climbing 3-course series. You will learn new skills, discover beautiful climbing spots, and find the joy in outdoor climbing. 3 weekends in 3 different Swiss regions. Possibility to join one, two or all of them if you want to become a confident climber!
These climbing course series are led by Tim Dunham, climbing instructor.

Learn how to sport climb on real rock and the skills needed to keep you safe. Instruction includes: lead climbing & belaying, rope management, clipping an express, setting & clearing anchors, equipment, and communication. This course will build the confidence and create a great foundation as a lead climber.

What’s the plan?
Meet Tim in front of the Schwyz train station at 09:00 on Saturday. Shuttle to Ibergeregg, Passhöhe. After hiking to the crag, you will refresh your current climbing skills and learn the fundamentals of lead climbing, belaying and setting / clearing anchors in a safe environment
Requirements
Participation in Course 1/3 - Top Rope Climbing or previous experience with indoor or outdoor top rope climbing
Insurance
It is the participant's responsibility to get health and accident insurances that cover mountain rescue, including extreme sports. Becoming a Rega patron is highly recommended (CHF 40 per year only for emergency medical assistance from the air)
How to get there
If you are traveling from Zurich by public transport, we recommend you take the following:
- Zurich HB 08:05 - 09:01 Schwyz
- Schwyz 16:59 - 17:55 Zurich HB - depending on the time the event finishes
If you are traveling by car, you can park the car at Ibergeregg pass.
Please note that, according to the weather conditions, the event location might change. This will be communicated a couple of days before the event. The event location will be within accessible from Zurich by public transport.

Pricing
The price for this event is CHF 150.
SAVE CHF 50 BY SIGNING UP FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES: CHF 700 instead of CHF 750.
