We're having another Online West Chester Uke Jam on Wed from 6-7pm! RSVP by clicking on "Attend online" in advance so then you'll be able to see the link on the day of the jam. Once the jam starts, Meetup doesn't allow someone to RSVP and get the link immediately. Once you've chosen to "Attend online" you'll be able to see the link to the right ---------> You'll be in our waiting room and a moment later we'll let you in. For this jam we'll use music from our online WC Uke Jam Songbook and music collection. In our Google Drive you'll see our songbook, folders for other songs folks have shared & instructions on how to start using our online tools. Send any additional songs in advance to me (Charlot). We're asking volunteers to lead a song & we take turns. The audio doesn't work when we all play & sing together so everyone but the leader will be muted as you sing & play along at home. Nobody has to be a perfect singer and it takes a bit of courage to try, so your job is to sing loudly at home! **You're very much encouraged to lead a song.** Anyone leading MUST have made the "Settings to Improve Music Audio" (see document in the songbook link above) and have "Preserve Original Sound" on. We welcome all levels of ability in playing and singing. If you're just starting and have played 3 chords, you'll fit right in. If you're more advanced, you'll fit in too.

Every Friday Ukulele Underground offers a FREE jam on their YouTube channel. Great for beginners, building your song list and chord vocabulary. (1 PM Hawaiian time) After the time shift, this event will be at 6 PM EST. Aldrine’s strong suit is reggae, as well as some killer finger picking. So, working on back beat and string muting techniques is great for me. It’s wonderful playing with ukesters all over the world, including Japan, Brazil, Hawaii, England, Ireland, Germany, and more!
