To celebrate the earlier start time for our meditation, I will weave a guided meditation with the sound of the Hawthorn Tree's Heartbeat. Its resonant frequencies where we can breathe into the sound of the Hawthorn.
Tuning into the Hawthorn's inner sound (made audible in the gathering from a recording) is a form of Interoception, Resonance and Coherence through breath & stillness. The sound of the Hawthorn's Heartbeat offers balance and healing & a deeper cymatic connection to Nature.
The Hawthorn is a Heart Opening Tree. I have created a Clootie tree in Edinburgh called The Cauldron of Grief as a ceremonial ritual to offer gifts to the tree, words and sounds of love and loss to our beloveds. In the ceremony, I offer a Keening at Samhain for this Ritual.
