Hiking - McConnell's Mill (Experienced) - 16 Miles

This event will be an out and back hike to Hell's Hollow with a distance of roughly 16 miles. We'll rendezvous at Point Parking Area and begin the hike on the Alpha Pass Trail. We'll proceed to the Kildoo Trail until we reach Eckert Bridge, which will take us across Slippery Rock Creek. We'll then continue onto the Slippery Rock Gorge Trail and up to Hell's Hollow.

It's recommended that one wear sturdy hiking boots or trail-running shoes -- these trails have an exceptional amount of rocks. Another recommendation would be a day pack with a lunch or high-calorie snacks with plenty of water and/or electrolytes. Trekking poles and a headlamp may also be a good idea. Monitor the weather and be prepared for whatever Mother Nature may throw at us; we'll hike rain or shine.

This will be moderately difficult due to the terrain and reasonably brisk pace that we'll be moving (~2.5 mph). If this sounds like your type of hike, we look forward to seeing you there!
