Hi there,

We thought some of you might be interested in a new astronomy and space exploration themed Toronto-based podcast/radio show - The Star Spot.

The website is www.starspotpodcast.com.

The show recently posted an interview with Dr. Carolyn Porco, the leader of the Cassini mission to Saturn imaging team.

Other guests have included Dr. David Lafreniere on finding extrasolar planets, Toronto science author Dan Falk, Victoria Kaspi on pulsars, Chris Lintott on how 300,000 people are contributing to space research through the Zooniverse project, and the next episode will feature Chuck Black on the Canadian space program and how it fits into international plans.

If this interests you, please refer to www.starspotpodcast.com/listen for ways to subscribe or listen to the show, "like" us on facebook at www.facebook.com/TheStarSpot and follow us on twitter @TheStarSpot.

We're also eagerly looking for volunteers to help with the show. This is a great chance to increase public engagement and literacy in science and space.

Thanks
Justin Trottier
