How many countries have you been to?

More than a few, but still not as many as I'd like to.

What is your favorite travel experience?

Wow, that's a hard one -- there've been so many good ones. Oktoberfest in Germany was definitely an all time high point, skiing in Utah a week before Christmas was another one, and the four days in Saint Petersburg, Russia were just not long enough.

If money, time-off, and destination options were no object, name your dream adventure travel destinations?

In no particular order: Southeastern Europe; the Andes; the holy lands; Russia; the Orient; Australia; and India. I would love to go back to Bavaria sometime. Maybe a ski trip (or two or three) to the Alps, or the Rockies or Poconos - or at least Wisconsin or Michigan. I'd also love to visit the Caribbean, just not a cruise ship with such limited time in port. There are paddleboat excursions on the Mississippi River that sound like a lot of fun. How about a canoe and camping trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of Minnesota? A ranch in Montana or Texas could be an awesome experience. There are numerous hot air balloon festivals around the country. Closer to home, how about day trips or weekends to Milwaukee for whatever festival is at Meier Park or the Wisconsin State Fair Grounds?

Are you in the travel industry? If so please explain.

Only as a traveler, although I've been told that I missed my calling, because of my ability to minimize official travel costs and find great things to see and do in conjunction with those trips.

Would you like to organize (Lead or Co-Lead) an Adventure Travel trip? If so, name the destination?

Not sure, yet.

As a seasoned road warrior, you'd think I'd be tired of living out of a suitcase, but I can still hardly wait for vacation to head off on some excursion, or the next business trip for which I can leave early and make a mini-cation of the weekend.
