Day 1 (Nov[masked]-Wed): Canada to Beijing


Fly from Vancouver to Beijing, day you’ll fly to Beijing, the biggest city in China, political importance nowadays and also the capital of two dynasties including the modern China.


Day 2 (Nov[masked]-Thu): Beijing

Day 3 (Nov[masked]-Fri): Beijing  (B/L/D)


Your visit today includes the Tiananmen Square and the  Imperial Palace or “The Forbidden City”. Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in the world and of great historical significance, where you could see the symbol of China - the ancient majestic Tiananmen Tower. Right next to the square, is the Imperial Palace, the world reputed palace of Chinese 24 emperors in Ming and Qing dynasties. Your next stop is the Temple of Heaven. It is much bigger than the Forbidden City and is a royal temple worshipped by Chinese emperors to pray to heaven for a good harvest. You will visit the Chinese Medicine Institute and Jade Exhibition Centre. Enjoy an acrobatic show after Brazilian BBQ dinner.

Day 4 (Nov[masked]-Sat): Beijing  (B/L/D)


Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel and your visit today will be the most memorable on the whole trip – climbing the Great Wall. It is the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared.  However, it is still one of the  most  appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. Later you’ll visit the Summer Palace - a well preserved entertainment garden of the emperors and their imperial families. Your next stop is the “Bird’s Nest” a new creation by the Chinese government hosting the 2008 Summer Olympic. Tonight your special dinner is the Peking duck dinner.

Day 5 (Nov[masked]-Sun): Beijing – Wuhan  (B/D)


Breakfast in you hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Wuhan. On arrival, your coach will take you to Yichang for embarkation onto the MS Yangtze 2, outside cabin with balcony.

Day 6 (Nov[masked]-Mon): Yangtze River  (B/L/D)


Activity and shore excursion: Three Gorges Dam site, Passing through 5 ship locks, entering Xiling Gorge. Captain’s welcome dinner.

Activity and shore excursion: Shennong stream, site of the “hanging coffin”, entering Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.

Day 9 (Nov[masked]-Thu): Chongqing – Xian  (B/L/D)


In the morning, the ship will dock in at Chongqing. Disembark and your coach will take you to the zoo where you will take picture with the world famous pandas. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian. On arrival Xian, transfer to your hotel.

Day 10 (Nov[masked]-Fri): Xian  (B/L/D)


Today, your guide will bring you to the site where Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses were excavated. The discovery is one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. These 6000 life-size painted terracotta warrior and horses shape into an imposing underground army. Later, you will visit the Xian city wall, a main attraction of Xian, is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Tonight, your dinner is a very special Dumpling dinner followed by a Tang Dynasty show.

Day 11 (Nov[masked]-Sat): Xian – Shanghai – Suzhou  (B/L/D)


Breakfast at your hotel and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, your motor coach will take you to the Suzhou, known as the city of gardens. Your visit includes the Suzhou museum, which is a masterpiece in itself. What a wonderful way to display an impressive collection of Chinese historical articles.

Day 12 (Nov[masked]-Sun): Suzhou  (B/L/D)


Breakfast at your hotel and tour of the city. Today, you’ll visit a silk factory and see how the pure silk is extracted and made into all sorts of silk products. The coach will stop at Tongli water village - a very well preserved water township with a history of more than 1,000 years on the eastern shore of Taihu Lake and minutes from Suzhou. Your visit includes a cruise through the canals by gondola.

Day 13 (Nov[masked]-Mon): Suzhou – Shanghai  (B/L/D)


After breakfast, take the coach to Shanghai. The Bund is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is the starting point where Shanghai walked into the modern times and a good place to know about the old Shanghai. Your next stop is the Xintindi. It is the former French concession in the Qing dynasty and now it’s full of cafe, gift shops and bar - one of the latest hot spots of getting together. Stop by the Pearl Center before returning to your hotel.

In the east of the Bund is China's premier shopping street, the Nanjing Road, 3.4 miles long, a must-see destination attracting fashion-seeking from all over the world. Yuyuan Garden is located in the Cheng Huang Miao Bazaar area built in 1577 You will stroll along in the historic spot and shopping area. Your tour to China won’t be complete if you don’t stop by the “knock off market” so you do. But, don’t forget to bargain – its fun, most tourist said. Special Thai dinner.

You will take the motor coach to the Victoria Peak, which is perhaps Hong Kong's most popular attraction. Looking down from the Peak, you'll be amazed by the spectacular view of the surrounding city skyline, the world-famous Victoria Harbor and Kowloon, towering skyscrapers and peaceful green hillsides. Then you will go to visit the Stanley Market. Stanley market is a Shoppers' Paradise where you can find a wide variety of souvenirs such as silk, garments, sportswear, Chinese artwork and accessories. After that, you will go to visit the Aberdeen Village. Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter is an old traditional fishing village which is hard to find in any other parts of the World.
